I have recently completed on my late father house sale with the Shirly Office. The service received has been exceptional from the very beginning right up to completion. Sam and Siobhon have been extremely proactive, professional and also understanding given this has been a particularly sad and difficult time for our family. Sam and Siobhon made the whole process as stress free as it could be, keeping me up to date regularly , offering sound advice when needed, going the extra step to ensure the sale ran smoothly. Very proactive team, we decided to sell our house, and had 20+ viewings before the house officially hit the market. Bairstow shirley called eager clients who have missed out on properties in the area recently and set up a open house (covid compliant of course) and we had 3 firm offers to pick from in less then 5 days!! Thank you to Luisa, Sam and Siobhon for their recent success in selling our house. We had offers before we were even on the market and finally accepted an offer in excess of our asking price only 6 days later. Easy to write a review when there's a positive outcome however I've let the dust settle to think this through. Changed estate agents after 9 months of woe, to Bairstow Eves. Good move. Samantha knows her stuff, good local knowledge and suggested a different marketing strategy which worked. Siobhan kept me informed of progress on a bi weekly basis even if not a lot was going on.....communication is key. When Boris said 'go' to the housing market, Bairstow Eves were up and running again, pronto. So, even through challenging times, the sale was made. Our chain was a rather complicated one, long with many up and downs (mostly due to my solicitors). Luisa was excellent at keeping the chain calm and rational during a pretty tense and stressful wait for exchange and completion. She was constantly in touch during periods of uncertainty and knew where in the process everyone was in the chain. When we got closer to deadlines she was good at keeping everyone informed and not promising dates/times until we were certain they could be met. I’m sure she also took the brunt of the complaints about delays and worked with us to resolve issues as quickly as possible despite us being the buyers and giving them no commission. I cannot comment on their competitiveness regarding fees but can definitely vouch for their attention to detail and communication. Thank you Luisa!
