We have just purchased a property through HJC and couldn’t speak highly enough of Nicky and Jordan. They were in constant communication with us throughout the purchase, keeping us updated on the status of the chain and responding very quickly to any questions we had. Nicky was our main point of contact, and we are incredibly grateful for her support, knowledge and dedication to the process. It has been comfortably the best experience we’ve ever had with an estate agent. If we are ever looking to sell a property in Surbiton, HJC would be our first and only point of call, and we would suggest them to anyone.

Estate agents generally have a poor reputation but you are in safe hands with HJC. I’ve experienced the process from both sides of the property game. On the buying side, I’ve found that the level of service elsewhere has often been disappointing, with very little communication or meaningful updates along the way. Suzanne was my initial point of contact at HJC, and I liked the way she came across. She has a broad and eclectic understanding of the property market and approaches each house as its own individual case, recognising its idiosyncrasies and strengths and always focusing on the positives. From the outset she was professional, thoughtful, and reassuring. When it came to marketing and selling the property, Jordan was consistently positive, upbeat, and absolutely convinced that we would achieve a sale. That confidence was both reassuring and well founded, and it made a real difference during what can be a stressful stage of the process. Nicky also provided viewings and administrative support throughout, and was always punctual, well presented, and positive. Once the sale had been agreed, Suzanne continued to handle the sales progression. This proved to be a lengthy and at times challenging process, taking around six months in this tricky market. Throughout, she remained calm, practical, and highly professional, often managing expectations and emotions on both sides with real skill. During this period we suffered a close bereavement, and the team were genuinely supportive and kind, while still keeping the right level of pressure where it was needed to move things forward. That balance of empathy and professionalism is rare and very much appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend HJC. They went the extra mile at every stage and provided a level of care, consistency, and service that genuinely sets them apart.

The team at HJC Surbiton are true professionals, not the average, reading from a script estate agents, but treat everyone as individuals, Suzanne, Nicky and Jordan kept us up to date every step of the way, they was caring and thoughtful. It was a probate sale as sadly my mother in law had passed away and they treated us with empathy, not at all pushy. I have heard some horror stories about a couple of Kingston estate agents, thankfully, we chose HJC. We would again like to thank the whole team. No gimmicks posting their photos on boards etc. Very classy office.

Estate agents don't always have a good reputation but the service we received from Suzanne, Nicky and Jordan when we sold our house in Surbiton was exemplary. Suzanne visited very quickly after we approached HJC and we were marketed at a realistic price. Thanks to Suzanne's local knowledge, we were lucky to find a buyer within a week of our home being advertised. Her team communicated well throughout, making sure we were aware of progress, reminding us when we needed to take action and providing reassurance when I was stressing unduly! I have recently been a tenant under HJC managment and purchased a property with them. Having rented for the last 10 years, I have come across a fair few management agents and I can safely say Manique at HJC was the best by far. She was always responsive to requests, efficient and helpful and always pleasant to deal with. Can't recommend HJC enough if you're chosing an estate agent to use! We used them to buy our first house, and Jordan, Suzanne, Nicky and the team were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process! We made our offer in May, and they helped every step of the way to ensure the buying process was as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our solicitors were sometimes a little slow - but with the help of HJC, any issues were quickly resolved and the communication between all the parties was greatly helped by their work. As well as that, any time we had questions or wanted to view again, they were always happy to help and would reply really prompty too! I'd highly recomend them for anyone looking to buy, and if/when we move, we'll definitely come back to them first!

My partner and I rented a property that was fully managed by HJC for about 1.5 years on Maple Road. Manique was our main point of contact for the duration and the service she gave us was absolutely fantastic. She made any issue big or small seem like no problem and was always accommodating and efficient in helping us. To give you some perspective to a variety of the things that came up during our tenancy; getting locked out on a Sunday, adopting a cat and amending the contract, boiler breaking and getting replaced, installing smart meters, a wasp nest in the garden, the garden wall almost falling down and needing to be rebuilt… these are just a few of the sorts of things that Manique sorted out for us and it was done very quickly and professionally, and we were never made to feel like we were a burden. If you are looking to rent in Surbiton, we couldn’t recommend HJC enough!!

We were buyers and whilst not instructed by us, felt like the team were working hard to ensure our sale was completed in a time manner, without playing the usual games we had been used to with other agents.
