Victoria worked extremely hard to find me a very suitable tenant and supported me throughout the whole letting process. She was always patient, professional and willing to solve problems. For example, there was a vehicle outside my property with a badly damaged window, which could have affected potential viewings. Victoria took the time to communicate with the relevant authorities and helped get the issue resolved. What impressed me most was her ability to understand and balance the needs of both landlords and tenants. Her excellent communication skills and dedication helped make the whole process smooth and successful. I truly appreciate Victoria’s hard work, professionalism and commitment. We can’t praise Peter Heron estate agency enough from start to finish they helped us throughout from the 1st visit to value our home to the handing over of the keys Thomas kept us informed and painstakingly explained each process along the way. Elisha who came to take photographs and videos was very polite friendly and professional even coming back to retake outside photos as it rained 1st time, she made the experience painless. After 44years in the same home bringing up our children it was a bit of a wrench but the help and advice from Thomas and the lovely ladies at the Fulwell branch we survived the upheaval and now happily settled in our new home. I had a really positive experience with Peter Heron, and in particular Victoria, who handled the letting of my property. The whole process dragged on for around six months (through no fault of theirs) and Ashley went above and beyond to keep everything together. I recently collected the keys for my new home, and honestly the experience felt quite disappointing. The staff simply handed over the keys in an envelope with very little interaction. There was no congratulations, no explanation, no warmth, and no effort to make what is a huge milestone feel special. I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant, but basic customer care and professionalism go a long way. Buying or moving into a home is a significant moment in someone’s life, and the handover experience felt rushed and impersonal. I hope the company improves how they treat customers during key collection because small gestures and communication really matter.

I’ve been a tenant of Peter Heron for over 4 years, and the property I rent is the first place I’ve lived in after moving out of my parents’ home. From the start, I viewed the property and was able to move in just two days later with no problems at all. If I ever needed help, even with questions I thought might be stupid or silly, they were always just an email away and happy to help. Any time I’ve been into the Fulwell branch, I’ve always been met with genuine friendliness from everyone working there, which has made a big difference to the overall experience. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Victoria, as she’s the person I usually email with any queries. Her replies are always quick, helpful, and clear, and she’s always happy to help with anything I need. As a first-time tenant, that kind of support has made a huge difference. Reporting maintenance issues is also really straightforward. The PropertyFile app or website makes it easy to log problems and upload photos if needed, and you’re kept updated throughout by both the letting agency and contractors so you always know what stage things are at. Overall, I’ve had a really positive experience and would highly recommend Peter Heron to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and supportive letting agency. I’ll definitely continue being a tenant for the foreseeable future.

"There are truly no words to describe how much Victoria Simm at Peter Heron has changed our lives this week. We were trying so hard to secure our absolute dream home, but when our referencing hit a massive roadblock, I was completely heartbroken, overwhelmed with stress, and genuinely losing hope.
