I couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent than Amy Watt at Richard James. From the moment my house went on the market through to completion, Amy was professional, helpful and incredibly patient. She kept everything moving by facilitating communication between all parties, including my buyer, my solicitor and the buyer’s solicitor, which made a huge difference throughout the process. Whenever I asked for an update, Amy always knew exactly where things stood. If anything had changed, she would quickly obtain the latest information and keep me fully informed. Her communication was excellent, and I always felt confident that everything was in hand. Selling a house can be stressful, but Amy’s calm, proactive approach made the whole experience much easier. She is a real credit to Richard James, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both Amy and the team to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you again, Amy. Your hard work, professionalism and dedication are genuinely appreciated.

As a landlord, over time I have bought and sold property in the town, and currently in the process of evaluating estate agents to market a two bed in Covingham. My first call to Richard James was taken by Millie, who quickly responded with an evaluation visit that day. From the very beginning, it was apparent that Millie was extremely professional and knowledgeable regarding the property market, with an equally high level of presentation skill. I raised a range of questions, which were answered informatively and with great confidence, with added advice give when appropriate to do so. If asked to rank Millie’s visit, I would not hesitate in giving her a 10++/10 as she was head and shoulders above all other agents who visited and quoted. Unfortunately, for reasons far beyond anything RJ and Millie could manage, I have not placed my business with RJ, but I’m confident Millie’s future in the industry is a bright one and whenever we re-enter the market, I’m hopeful Millie’s available to implement the sale.

Right from the very start I knew I have team of skilled professionals working to sell my property fast and for a good price. That's exactly what happened. I haven't sold and bought a property at the same time before and sometimes it was stressful. This was because I wasn't familiar with the process. During these times I would talk to Alanah (branch manager). Alanah was always happy to explain things which was very comforting. Amy also helped me a great deal liaising with the new build developer and the conveyancing company. One of the best things I enjoyed about working with Richard James is popping in to see them. There all strong characters with great personalities. I have to mention Millie, can't miss Millie out. She's a joy to be around. Emily is lovely too and always asks if I need any help. Thank you Emily. Steve and Emma helped alot with the viewings which is a big part of the initial process. Thank you very much.
