As a family-owned business, customer service is paramount to us, and so we are very surprised to read your review. With over 30 years of experience, we pride ourselves on being very transparent regarding our fees and the way the system works in the letting’s industry. Part of the process includes the signing of the holding deposit form, before any money is paid to ourselves, where an applicant agrees to the terms and conditions. By signing this form, you agreed that the holding deposit is non-refundable if you failed referencing due to undisclosed adverse credit. We did ask you for your guarantor information, which was put forward to the Landlord, however the Landlord made the decision not to go ahead with your application after seeing the reference. Unfortunately, this is the process for many agents and I would advise you to disclose any adverse credit BEFORE going forward and agreeing to a reference. Good luck with your search for a property.
