We were absolutely delighted with the service we received from the Storrington branch in selling our home. All the team, but especially Peter Hossack, director, were supportive, professional and went more than the extra mile for us. Peter kept in contact with us regularly, never failing to communicate out of office hours when it was required. It was his expertise and hard work that led to our achieving a very successful sale. We have never received this level of service in over 40 years of owning property. We cannot recommend GL&Co., more highly.

I cannot recommend Craig highly enough to anyone selling or buying. Craig worked relentlessly on driving a fairly complex purchase through ahead of Christmas, continually managing expectations and keeping in contact with me and the developer all but daily. Notably for me, as I buy into people, Craig genuinely acted and delivered as if it were his own family buying the property. I did not have to chase or question a thing as the communication was constant and accurate every time and his experience clearly enables him to preempt the inevitable challenges of the UK system. Craig has a refreshing passion for the Sussex area he covers, people's fit, and naturally goes the extra mile, including making sure you're settled long after completion day.

If you set your bar at wanting a Gold Standard of Customer Service from an estate agent ,across measures such as : wider market knowledge , local area knowledge of housing supply and prices very high levels of experience in truly understanding their business , highly effective negotiating skills , excellent communication skills , proactive sales progression abilities , great trust and confidence levels then I have no hesitation in highly recommending GL & Co . Having recently sold our house through Guy Leonard Horsham I can highly recommend Tim and the team as they offered an excellent service throughout the whole process. Having had some less than satisfactory estate agent experiences in the past, it would be fair to say I was sceptical at the start. However, the Guy Leonard team soon gave us confidence by ensuring clear, timely and completely open communication which meant we were all aligned on what was happening and any decisions that needed to be made. If there was good news we were told, and importantly, if there was some bad news (inevitable when selling/buying a house) , we were equally told immediately along with practical solutions and next steps. It's never easy selling a property but in a challenging market Guy Leonard gave us a first class service and I would happily recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional, honest, client orientated estate agent service.

After 27 years of living at our property, we made the enormous decision to move.........and we could not have picked a better estate agency. In the middle of this pandemic, we were dreading the whole process.......we need not have worried. The worst estate agency I’ve ever dealt with, to the Point that I would rather lose a property I loved than deal with gl & co. Inconsistent policies throughout with confusing messaging. Would regularly send emails suggesting property and then fail to respond to emails asking to view. Lots of promises were made but none delivered. Thankfully Fowler’s were much better, everything promised was delivered. They found us a property straight away and moved heaven and earth to get us a viewing. To top it off they also sold our property within 3 days.

They have some lovely properties...shame the lettings side treated us like second grade citizens; after saying we wanted to rent somewhere despite having years of outstanding referencing and employment history, because we had children were put right at the bottom of the pecking order despite seeing the properties weeks in advance of the favoured tenants. The house stated no where on the listing about children or dogs. Was so upset with the treatment we received. But I was so disgusted and insulted at how she regarded us and our children as though we were burdens. Our children were 18 months and 2.5 so not destructive and chaotic. We were so excited about this particular property and made continuous contact with the office to check on how things were going but we we're strung along for weeks with false hope..and her sarcy comments on the phone were also least appreciated.

Following a very lengthy protracted journey, we finally found our forever home! Having registered with several agents in the area the team at Guy Leonard, realising we had set our hearts on West Chiltington and knowing our excellent purchasing position, persevered to support and guide us through the search for our new home. Unfortunately we were unable to proceed on 3 purchases as the vendors turned out to be reluctant and indifferent to actually move! However Craig, Peter and Isobel continued to help us in our search and finally after more than a year they recommended a beautiful new build bungalow that matched our requirements and was readily available. Initially however we didn't fully appreciate this, but following a second visit, reassurance from Isobel and guidance from Peter and Craig we decided to proceed. We finally moved 3 weeks ago and helped by a very warm welcome from our neighbours we have quickly settled and realise we have made the right decision. Thank you all again at Guy Leonard!

Disappointed with the service as a renter, but had no choice in the matter. They are the same as most agents I guess, working for the landlord and taking the money off of the Tenent. Basically a middle man taking your money to give to someone else minus there cut of course. They are always quick to remind you they have key when they need to gain access for viewing and maintainence etc. We were also issued a dodgy landlords certificate on moving in to the property. Thankfully we have purchased now and don’t have to deal with these type of agents anymore! Good luck if you have to rent!
