I honestly can’t thank Courtney enough for everything she did to help to get my property purchase over the line. There were a few problems and hurdles along the way, but Courtney went above and beyond at every stage to keep things moving and make sure everything was dealt with. I was kept fully informed. We can't recommend James Du Pavey highly enough. After another estate agent struggled to sell our house, we moved over to JDP and the difference was pretty immediate. The house was on the market for just one week, sold after the first weekend of viewings, and they even managed to get us above the asking price. From start to finish, it felt like they knew exactly what they were doing. We also bought our new house through JDP, so they were involved on both sides of what could have been a pretty stressful process. Charlotte was our handler throughout and deserves a special mention. Despite having to put up with me ringing her in various states of house-moving panic a few times 😂 she somehow never lost her patience. She kept us informed, kept the chain moving and made sure we completed when we wanted to. Selling one house and buying another is stressful enough, but having people who actually know what they're doing makes a massive difference. All in all, JDP have been absolute legends. We honestly couldn't recommend James Du Pavey highly enough! We initially tried selling our house with a different estate agent, but unfortunately had very little luck. We then decided to move to James Du Pavey, and what a difference it made, our house sold within a week of going on with them, and they actually achieved over our asking price! From the very beginning, they came up with a fantastic sale strategy and were brilliant at keeping everything moving. Charlotte in particular dealt with us a lot throughout the process and was absolutely fantastic. She was always helpful, responsive and kept us updated, making us feel like we were in safe hands every step of the way. From getting our house sold through to completion day, the whole team worked incredibly hard to make what can be such a stressful process as smooth and stress-free as possible. They were proactive, organised and always seemed to be on top of everything, especially when it came to keeping the chain moving. We also bought our new home through James Du Pavey, so we've experienced their service from both sides, and we honestly couldn't have asked for more. Review selling my house 2026 - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend James Du Pavey Stone. I had a great experience selling my house with the team. Kelly gave honest, realistic advice when it came to listing the property, which I really appreciated. The whole office team were brilliant with viewings. I had over 30 in total, and everyone who showed people around was professional, efficient and helpful. Once the sale was agreed, Courtenay was fantastic at managing everything through to completion. She kept us updated every week, was proactive in chasing solicitors and others in the chain, and worked hard to keep everything moving when delays arose. This must of been one of the most stressful moves I think anyone involved has ever been through! It took nearly a year to get in our dream family home! JDP are absolutely incredible from day one! All of the staff there are amazing professional and so caring! I need to give a massive shout out to Helen, she became a therapist and at the end of the experience it felt like Helen was buying our home with us! Located a property that we were interested in and first to view. Very quickly put in an offer, from the very start the agency would make decisions on behalf of their client and feed them a narative basically telling them not to accept our offer or go with us which they told me over the phone. They actually told the client not to which they are not supposed to do when I asked for this in writing they sent me an email with something completely different of course as they do not want to get into trouble. And when I complained to the manager about this particular person she tried to brush it under the carpet and said its probably a miss understanding or miscommunication not taking onboard the staff members wrong doing! Very difficult company, and very unprofessional avoid like the plague!
