We recently sold our house with the Cheadle branch and our experience can only be described as excellent. All the staff were amazing and so professional and helpful and always went the extra mile for . Nothing was to much trouble for them. We mainly dealt with Sharon who was fantastic and really cared about getting everything sorted to make the move happen for us. I always felt that she genuinely cared about us and made us feel at ease.

I found the team at Altrincham very professional and friendly. I had lived in my house for 27 years, so I found the whole process really stressful, especially when the first purchaser pulled out of the sale at the last minute. My house sold again straight away, and one member of staff in particular Joanne was very knowledgeable and reassuring, she was always willing to compromise and listened to any concerns I had, which was more than my solicitors did. I would try to steer clear of this company if possible. We have rented a property through this agency and it has been a nightmare. Communication is horrendous, you cannot get hold of anyone at all. We even went into the branch about our queries and still were told that no one was available and someone would contact us (which they didn’t). The property was not ready for us to move into on the agreed date and we were not told about this until we chased and chased about needing more info on moving in.

Do NOT recommend Didsbury - my experience has been one of unprofessionalism and downright unethical practice. Told flat would be cleaned. It wasn’t. Didn’t bother to clear previous tenant electric debt. Infested by hornets and ended up in ED. Mould and damp everywhere. Boiler loose on wall. Downstairs tenant said he had had to pay for dehumidifiers and mould treatment himself. Consider saving yourself a lot of grief.

Absolutely terrible experience with this letting agent. After the landlord withdrew an agreed offer, we were left out of pocket and still have not had our deposit returned. Communication has been poor throughout, with constant delays and little accountability. We felt completely unsupported and ignored when trying to resolve the issue fairly. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before dealing with this agency. They tried to make us send them thousands of pounds with no contract given then last minute withdrew the offer and are refusing to give the deposit back. Absolutely dreadful agency.

They always kept us up to date with progress, were very proactive and were always keen to help and offer advice. The whole team were brilliant at their job and their customer service is 100%. These ladies go above and beyond a good level of service, as one of their clients, they guided, supported and advised me every step of the way, including me in decisions and talked me through each process. I felt valued, cared for and most importantly listened to as a customer. These ladies excel in their field. The best decision made selling my house with Dunn & Rate. FacebookThe girls at Dunn and rate were brilliant and professional and they made sure that everything ran smoothly. From numerous home viewings, to securing a buyer for our home, the girls have worked so very hard and we’re professional at all times. Me and Tom didn’t feel under pressure at any point to make any quick decisions and felt at ease knowing the girls were there to sort it all out for us. As per all the other negative reviews - terrible communication - poorly written emails, unprofessional in manner and just awful to deal with. From moving into property, water pressure issues and constant cold showers. After months of back and forth was told (by a manager) 'oh well you are on a rolling contract, so you can just find another property' as appose to just having the issue fixed? Turns out it was a pump needed for the boiler, and of course the landlord did not want to pay as it was 'expensive'. It wasn't. Paying over a grand a month for no hot showers and terrible management is expensive. Clearly they prioritise landlords and not tenants. We left as suggested and do not recommend for renting at all - save your self the stress and sour puss faces.

The experience has been so personable and the whole team have been so attentive and pleasant, especially Katie who’s now in the Guinness book of records for selling our house within 24 hours! Julie Chapman at the Sale branch was extremely helpful on our sale and purchase. You could tell she really cares for her clients. Very thorough with her communication (more so than our conveyancers) which was so appreciated. Our transaction was quite a convoluted process with 5 parties in the chain, she kept us reassured throughout the year long wait!

Nothing is ever to much trouble and the communication with myself as a client was outstanding! This company is really unprofessional but leading the Altrincham area due to less competitors in the market. By mistake they send some emails to me as Tenant and actually were supposed to send landlord suggesting that they can increase the rent and committed to another contract so on. In the otherway round Landlord sair I want to go away from them and its waste of money on Managed service.

All was fine until we received a quit notice. They harassed us with emails asking when are you leaving? have you found a house? They even threatened to charge us double rent if we overstayed our due leave date. Disorganised and disoriented, all they care about is money. They will quickly collect your rent and deposit but take forever to refund it when you leave. I would rather remain homeless than stay in house managed by Gascoigne!

We have recently finalised the sale of our house, and purchase of our next (of which the sale side was dealt with by Gascoingn Halman). We would like to particularly thank Dominic from the Sales office in Wilmslow for all his help during the process - he was absolutely the reason why everything ran smoothly and most importantly ran to time. Though we have bought a house previously, this was our first time buying and selling at the same time and Dominic was fantastic at guiding & advising us each step of the way and always on hand for our questions. Dominic was also particularly great with coordinating all the moving parts and knew who to call and when to get things moving, and seeming never hesitate to do so on our behalf, we are extremely grateful. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to use his services again! We would also thoroughly recommend Gascoign Halman Wilmslow too - though we primarily dealt with Dominic, all other colleagues at the Wilmslow office we spoke to during the process were extremely helpful.

Gasgoigne Halman, in my opinion, are the creme de la creme of Estate Agents - particularly the WILMSLOW office. Selling my house was being done to enable me to move overseas which made it particularly important and intense as there was a house purchase taking place at the same time. James and his team really pulled out all the stops - even after two buyers they found defaulted and left us in the lurch! At one point I considered using one of the “We buy any house.com” companies - purely out of desperation to prevent the loss of the overseas property. But James and his brilliant team were not for giving up!! Not only did they find another buyer - they found a cash buyer who was in a hurry to complete the sale as soon as possible!The care and service received from every member of this company was outstanding in every single aspect and I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone looking for a company with absolute integrity, professionalism and personal attention. Over 10 years ago I had purchased my house through Gasgoignes and now - having experienced their sales expertise as well - for me - they are Simply the Best!!☺️

Totally manipulating the applicants. Before viewing mentioned about two tenants and the staff arranged the viewing. Now they are telling me they can’t allow two tenants.
