Useless for landlords...Avoid like the plague if your a landlord. You cannot get through to the property maintenance team. They never respond to VM's or emails. I've had some live issues for 10 months. They are happy to take the management fee but do nothing to fix issues.Please save yourself from getting robbed and go with reputable estate agent.

I am so grateful for Lydia who was my letting agent, she did everything to the best of her ability and more to move me into my first home. We had some teething problems and Lydia always communicated with myself about everything and solved everything. Dear Deborah, Thank you for your feedback, which we believe to be in response to a recent social media post. For clarity, we would like to highlight that this is connected to the letting of a commercial retail premises, rather than a domestic dwelling; our Newcastle under Lyme branch are in no way connected to this transaction. We regret that the tenant doesn’t feel the property is fit for purpose. We are working with the tenant and the landlord to come to a solution but as the contract is signed the decision rests with the landlord. Unfortunately, due to Government imposed restrictions, we were unable to offer an in-person viewing and sent the tenant a short video of the property which was recorded prior to lockdown. The tenant ultimately made the decision to sign the lease, having had the time and opportunity to have this reviewed, and paid the rent for the first year in its entirety in advance; this was not a requisite of the letting but rather a decision made by the tenant. It's an unfortunate situation and we’ll continue to work with both sides in an attempt to come to a satisfactory outcome.bjb Commercial team.

TrustpilotOK as an Estate agent but don’t use their solicitor referral
Although the as an estate agent BJB provided an adequate service. But their solicitor referral is something I would not recommend. I found out that BJB are paid a large fee for each referral and that fee is no doubt clawed back through the solicitors fees, The solicitors recommended were Poole/Alcock and we are not happy with their performance at all.

Don't use this agency! They have completely deceived a local charity supporting those in need: Providing them a building strewn with rubbish bags, without a working boiler!
