Amazing service, Thankyou.

Recently rented a property through Butters John Bee from the Stafford Branch. Me and my partner just happened to pop in and speak to Jason and Hayley who instantly made us both feel very comfortable, we were both offered a drink before sitting down and talking about what we were looking for. Jason quickly found a property, that had JUST come back on the ladder. We arranged a viewing there and then with Hayley and by 3pm the property was taken off the market and it was to be our new home.Hayley was amazing with both of us, she knew exactly what she needed to, helped us with everything and was very thorough. The whole service with Butters John Bee has been fantastic throughout our little journey and we cant thank you all enough. If you want to be treated fairly, with dignity and if you want the whole process of finding a property to be enjoyable and easy flowing, then Butters John Bee is the agent for you. Thanks guys.

Went to see Debbie Lomas at Butters…

Went to see Debbie Lomas at Butters John Bee for the sale of my property. Debbie was very helpful in everyway from start to finish. The photographs were excellent, communication was great with up dates and viewings that were interested in the property. Debbie and Emma kept us up to date with things and updates the lady who valued and took the photographs did an excellent job and Lee who works for just mortgage's very kindly helped me to purchase my mortgage. I would definitely recommend Debbie and the team to anyone who is thinking of selling there property, and to buy there next home, Lee at Just mortgage's Newcastle under Lyme. I have given the service a 5 star rating but to me it has to be more stars 100% Many thanks again and will definitely use Debbie Lomas and the team at Butters John Bee Newcastle under Lyme when thinking of selling again. Excellent customer service

I have been a landlord for the past 4 years with Butters, my most recent experience has been by far the best I have received. The service has always been satisfactory however Lydia Monk has set new standards with the excellent customer service she provided when re letting my property. She was in continual contact and nothing was too much trouble for her even during Usually this terrible pandemic. Lydia is a great ambassador for the company.

Terrible in every way

If it were possible to rate this company lower than one star, I absolutely would. The level of service I received was extremely disappointing. The manager made a number of bold promises about what their business would achieve for me, yet none of these claims materialised. Communicating with them is incredibly frustrating, you’re routed through what appears to be a call centre that has no knowledge of your situation and no interest in connecting you with the local branch.

This company is a joke

This company is a joke! I don't know how it keeps going. Once my 12 month rental contract for an apartment was coming to its end BJB emailed me asking if I wanted to stay on, and I agreed, even though the rent increased slightly. I told them I needed a letter off them addressed to both myself and my wife showing the new rent. Still no letter despite at least 8 emails, plus a couple of phone calls requesting a letter. I managed to contact the landlady and even she couldn't get any sensible response from them. And don't get me started on the lack of repairs. BJB are incredibly incompetent, don't trust them.

VERY POOR AT ALL LEVELS I don't think…

VERY POOR AT ALL LEVELS I don't think there are enough words to say how appallingly they treat landlords and tenants alike. I have complained many times over the last 4 years and each time I have been assured of improvements at all levels, but basically I am paying a lot of money to BJB every month and I do not receive the service from them. I have to check when gas certs, EICR and EPC are due and when I send information to them it is not updated on their system. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU WANT A MANAGEMENT TEAM it's non existent. I have put a date in for experience, but that is when I decided to get rid of them and stop paying for doing the job I'm doing myself. Having read all the other reviews it would appear we are not the only ones with this dreadful experience 1 star is 1 too many

Just a really awful experience. High turnover of staff. Often it took 6 + weeks to get a reply to a email after relentless chasing. We were paying a full management fee as we were living overseas, so this was a nightmare and very stressful. We finally made contact with the tenant and we were so shocked to see the state of the property. Black damp everywhere and the tenant had made a formal complaint to the council. So grateful not be working with this agent anymore. Please do your research - we have another property and the agent is amazing.

Brilliant Service from BJB Crewe

Really grateful to Sam in BJB Crewe office. Incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient and have gone out of his way to help with everything and even arranged a viewing late in the day to suit my restricted availability. All my phone calls and email queries have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Just exchanged on 2 BTL properties in central Crewe and hope to secure more in the future. Adrian and Marcin in the branch has also been at hand to help me. Felt very welcome when I first visited the Crewe office - friendly staff - made such an impact to me esp. after being on the road for 4 hours!! Guilt Tripping [and terrible service]

Received a letter in the post trying to guilt trip us into selling our home so a family of adults can move in? We have a child living here, so I don't see how adults are a priority. Never dealt with BJB before and certainly won't after reading this! Besides, the family want a detached house and most houses around the target areas are semi-detached/terraces, so clearly BJB don't know the area too well.Update: spoke with the brach over the phone to find out why it's acceptable to be posted this letter, and we were greeted by rude, condesending staff. Terrible service. Maybe BJB should consider the residents that are receiving their letters as they don't know their personal circumstances.

I would not recommend Butters John Bee - Northwich Estate agents they ignore your messages, zero communication, would not add or amend any pictures once submitted, failed to represent clients who came to view the property 343 Manchester Road twice, no sales contract was provided, we agreed 1.5% verbally, they took advantage and took 1.83% still waiting for a call back to discuss.

Tried to contact lettings at Crewe no response so escalated to Emma who is the next stage up who previously promised me replies within 48 hours but almost two weeks later nothing so then escalated to Andy Townsend reginal manager who in all fairness responded very quickly telling me that I would be contacted within a week which again did not happen so contacted him again to which he replied that he would place it as a formal complaint but I have no idea how that helps me get any contact from BJB regarding my property

Nuisance cold calling & desperate for business

We are currently up for sale with another agent in town however BJB somehow went to great lengths to obtain private information. My mobile telephone number & my address trying to poach my home sale for their business. Refusing their service later the same night 19:50pm I recieved another business cold call. I wasn't happy twice in one day! Nuisance cold desperate calls are not a good advert for BJB. When I asked where my personal information was obtained from the conversation became awkward & strained! Obviously some underhand third party dial up selling!

Not very professional

Was with BJB for a long time whilst they managed a property for me. Then ground theyvgot me the worst possible tenant who caused so much damage and damp notbopeening windows etc. Asked them to serve a sec 21 notice which they did but dint follow it up despite the fact they got me legal insurance cover. They kept on taking the tenants' word that they would move out which they didn't. Had to start all over again and this time tenants moved out and BJB were instructed to apply to keep the deposit. Once again they failed to act and the deposit was returned to the tenant. They then charged me for the final examination of the property. Cost me over £7k to repair the property. I went to sell the property and they were the most expensive to sell through so went to another agent. Never again will I use them or recommend them.
