GoogleHad appointment booked for a viewing with this outfit, 2 days before due to take place was cancelled and told by text the property was now sold, totally an unprofessional bunch of amateurs.

GoogleAusterberry’s Estate Agents couldn’t even be bothered to return an email back to me, after I took time out to first email this company. And they then had from opening to closing hours on two full days to get back to me. But they couldn’t even be bothered to return a simple email back to suit. Absolutely shocking way to run any business these days, and running one like that it normally it ends up on a downhill spiral.

GoogleA terrible and completely unprofessional estate agent. Sarah on the phone was actually really nice. But that’s where it stopped, i am currently viewing properties as a first time buyer and was accompanied by Adrian Gilbert at the viewing. I felt he was really arrogant, his attitude was appalling. He couldn’t even answer basic questions about the property and May aswell of not even been there. Stay away from this estate agent, especially as a first time buyer.

GoogleService starts well up to the point they secure your business, but then it's all downhill. No contact from them in 8 wks. NEVER answer the phones - always voicemail.

GoogleEncourage bidding wars and are totally greedy. Also offer shocking viewing times. Will not bother viewing another house with these crooks.

They acted thoughtfully and sensitively due to the circumstances and we would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them. Everyone we dealt with were professional and responsive. GoogleCouldn't fault the whole team at Austerberrys. They went above and beyond to help me sell my mum's bungalow. As I live 70 miles away they even went in on the day of handover to read the meters to save me a 3 hour round trip. I'd definitely use them again

GoogleLettings team never pick up the phone. Have to speak to Sales to be transferred over to them. Lettings have no clue whats going on. Wastes your time by asking to fill in an application for properties that are already let but never tell you.

GoogleCertainly wouldn’t consider listing my house with Austerberry - no viewings at the weekend - only in office hours Monday to Friday, too bad for those of us who actually have to go to work to earn a living to pay for a house! Something to bear in mind when looking for an agent!

GoogleYou leave a message for the property you are interested in and they never have got back to you so what is the purpose of leaving a message or an email.

Hi, we've just seen your comment. Sorry that no-one has got back to you. We have checked our e-mails and cannot find a message being sent by you but we are having issues with voicemails being left on our phone system not filtering through which our IT company is investigating at the moment. GoogleThey were very helpful and sent us application forms straight away and would quickly call us to making viewing appointments. Once renting, keeping in contact through emails was good and they were polite and understanding on any issues or complications.

Hi Valerie, We have checked our records and cannot see that we have had any dealings by the name of Valerie Arthur. Needless to say, we strongly reject the implication that we operate in an underhand manner. As you will appreciate, we are instructed to act on behalf of the seller and to act in their best interests when advising on offers made. We are registered with Propertymark for both sales and lettings and follow their code of conduct meaning that all offers put forward to us are reported to seller. If any person submitting an offer has a connection with Austerberry, this has to be and is disclosed to the seller at the point any offer is submitted. If it is that you or someone you are connected with has not had an offer accepted for a property, then we apologise for any disappointment but we can assure you that you would have been dealt with fairly and ultimately it is the decision of the seller as to which offer they choose to accept for their property. GoogleTold to apply for viewings online via applications, never heard back. Partner rang and heard back. Seems they give viewings and houses to people of certain ethnicity. Worst company possible. Discriminate against customers. Poor service. Will never recommend.
