The staff appear to get 'first choice' of sale properties before they are advertised. I don't think it is fair to other buyers if the estate agents buy themselves properties, ('to let' out as holiday lets), prior to the public seeing a 'For Sale' sign, advertisement online, or details in a newspaper. OK, it is great news for sellers to have a quick sale, but properties should be available for ALL potential buyers to have an equal chance to purchase. Perks of the job maybe, but unfair. Seems to be a widespread practice with estate agents everywhere!

Really disappointed regarding this agency as I had booked a viewing to buy a property, this was booked for 10:30am so was my first one for the day hence I woke up early in the morning for 100 miles drive , arrived at the property earlier than should and waiting there until 10:30 then waiting there another 20 minutes and all this time trying to contact them over the phone ( no answer). Only after Facebook message I got an reply and they call me back saying apologies for this and saying to reschedule for today ( I agree to do it after 2pm as I was booked with other viewings) no one called me back and at 12:55 when I called them to double check what happens automated voice mail answer saying the office is closed. Will never approach them or recommend them.

Viewings were arranged as soon as they got the keys, and plenty of them, only taking just over a week to find me a lovely tenant who I’m over the moon with. Fantastic estate agents, can not recommend highly enough!We came to Ingleby homes having had our place on the market with a bigger / more established estate agents and it was by far the best decision we have made. Just sold and purchased from Ingleby homes and cannot be happier, the service they provide and guidance was amazing. I was a little nervous at first and they assured me they would be on hand from start to finish and they were true to there word.Every communication was answered within minutes or a few hours max and kept us informed and offered advice when it was needed.If anyone wants to message me then happy to share but I would 100% recommend Ingleby homes for buying or selling. I rented a property through Ingleby Homes in 2020. By far the most substandard letting agent I've ever dealt with. At the end of my tenancy I paid for the house to be professionally cleaned and left it in a cleaner state than when I acquired it. Despite this, Ingleby Homes tried to withhold £600 of my security deposit. When attempting to communicate with Ingleby Homes I was met with dismissive and rude members of staff over email. Coming to no resolution, I decided to formally dispute the decision with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme. After a 4 month dispute process the TDS awarded me 100% of my deposit back as Ingleby Homes provided zero evidence of damage. I honestly believe they were trying to profit from my deposit, and could have probably succeeded if it was someone else.If you ever rent a property through Ingleby Homes, make sure you take photos of absolutely everything when you move out. Doing so saved me £600 from these absolute cowboys.

First one viewed the house and First one whose offer got accepted but 2 days later on our investigation they told us someone else got the house. They are not professional, their words means nothing even via email. Yes ingleby homes a dominant estate agent in ingleby which is the reason they do not value their customers. Their communication skills are poor and they do not realise how their actions affect people who wishes to have a dream house because they have no work ethics. Highly disappointed 😞.

I made an offer on a house which got accepted. I sent all paperwork Ingelby homes requested and contacted solicitor and bank. After a few days I got email form state agency with information that someone made an higher offer which was accepted by seller (even if my was already accepted). I liked home so I put higher offer than the other party. I was told seller already sold it. I don’t understand why someone could outbid me and when I offered more money I was told no - which is very weird. I don’t understand why after accepting my offer house was still on marked for a few days. Not happy at all.
