5 Star Gowland White

This is the second time I have used Gowland White, albeit 13 years apart. The service is fabulous, the price is fair and they help put you in touch with solicitors.By fair and away the best attribute is the girls and their communication. They were fabulous with me. I didn't once have to chase anything, they send out constant updates, were available for advice and also to chat when I needed guidance. They are an incredibly slick team. If someone is off, then someone else picks up the emails and provides a response. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and walk you through the stages of the selling process to put your mind as ease. Even the initial valuation was better than a competitor we had round for a comparison quote. Gowland White came prepared, had researched the area and brought information round of other similar houses in the area and shared those selling prices so that we could make an informed decision. When we agreed on a price, Gowland White suggested we go a little higher. They were going to get the same commission either way, but it was nice to see that they wanted us to sell for higher to make more money. That certainly wasn't the experience with the other local estate agent.I would very much recommend Gowland White, and I personally would now not go anywhere else.Thank you to Demi, Abby, Jodene, Nicola Tams and Nicola Bartliff.Karl Gray

I've been blown away by their efficiency, professionalism and outstanding communication. Jodene was the first member of the team I met, and everything she promised has been delivered. Tells tradesmen the tenant has MH issues or is angry and difficult when for 2 years a kitchen needed repairing and it wasn't done, it ended up collapsing and leaking water over plug sockets causing the whole house to repeatedly trip. Blew up the oven, the fireplace, the lamp because of this issue. My children were terrified to even get a drink of water for fear of being electrocuted. 6 months like this. Got SBC involved.They were issued immediate safety repairs notice. We was then issued a retaliatory S21. We were told by the director of its so bad then why not just take your children and move. Like it's easy to pack up a house and find a new property in 2 months. Just because they broke their tenancy agreement as did the landlord. Slum agency representing slum landlords. Disgrace a tenant by getting the usual workmen to say they won't go there because of them being angry YET they refused all quotes from anyone who wasn't on their payroll of tradesmen. Which left nobody available, recordings of people stating were been told you have MH or are aggressive. Which I had to laugh at because of how disgusting it is. Filed with the ombudsman and sought a solicitor. Do NOT use this company. Absolutely take every penny and have no care or concern in the disrepair that you and especially children living in and paying to live in.

I can’t speak highly enough of the lovely staff at Gowland White. From the get go I was kept well informed and nothing was too much trouble. We achieved a quick sale and the process was stress free as the girls did everything to make it so. They’re very much on the ball and were able to help me out when I needed to find a rental property for the gap between moving out and moving into our new home too.
