It has been an amazing and peaceful two years experience, Acorn lettings and sales is the best agency anyone could asked for, whenever I contact Acorn for any concerns I always get a prompt response and my issue sorted very quickly, I can go on and on about how satisfied I am with their agency, but coming from a lady who has been their tenant since February 2024, I definitely recommend Acorn lettings and sales either rental or sales, my special thanks to Andrea and Jemma and all the amazing beautiful ladies in the office that welcomes me with a beautiful smile, Jane is grateful.... Jemma was amazing from the beginning of viewing to the end of my contract with them. Soft spoken and responds to emails promptly. The house was clean, neighbourhood is calm annd peaceful. I’m disappointed with my experience dealing with this letting agency. The initial viewing was delayed because they said they had forgotten to note it in their diary, which didn’t create a great first impression. When I asked if minor cleaning could be done and some old furniture removed before moving in, I was told that as the new tenant I would need to cover those costs myself. I also asked about having the carpets cleaned prior to the tenancy starting, but they advised that I would have to accept the property “as seen” since I had already viewed it. In my understanding, basic cleanliness and reasonable preparation of a property are standard expectations before a new tenant moves in, so this response was quite surprising. I hope they take feedback like this seriously and improve their service for future tenants.

Abysmal service. I was told when booking to view a property that I would receive a call the morning of, to confirm the appointment. No phone call so I called them and had the appointment confirmed. 5 minutes later, they sent a text message to say that actually the property was under application, therefore my viewing was cancelled cancelled, obviously this hadn’t happened in the last 5 minutes. It’s not difficult to let people know that their appointments are cancelled, clearly basic organisation & communication are amiss here. Also they were too lazy to call and make sure I knew the appointment was cancelled, I could’ve easily missed a text message and wasted even more time by still going to the property. I will definitely not be considering any properties let out by Acorn in the future.

Since using Acorn (Nov 22), Rebecca and the team have been brilliant throughout. Alongside your usual day to day, Rebecca and the girls have gave advice, offerred assistance. Managed to organise a full heating refit as quickly as they could (minus temperatures outside). Unfortunately my time in Hartburn had to come to an end. But Rebecca moved quickly to assist in an alternate property(s). Cannot recommend Acorn enough to any one looking for housing in Teesside

Very poor service and communication! First rang the company to organise a viewing for two flats for sale on 23rd Feb was told the sales team member would call back. The following week I rang back as I had not heard anything, was told they were trying to reach the tenants to organise a viewing this was about a month ago. Still now I haven't heard anything back. Terrible shame

I have just used Acorn lettings as we had to relocate quickly due to my husbands job. Acorn was very helpful, professional, efficient and friendly. I mainly dealt with Andrea who was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me be able to move into our new property on time. Rebecca is an absolute angel and a huge asset to Acorn lettings. This is the best letting agents we’ve been with by a landslide and we’ve been with a lot (property changed hands about four times) I really hope we continue to stay with Acorn as it’s been such a fantastic service. If you are looking for a professional , reliable and personable Letting/Estate agent, look no further than Acorn Lettings. Having worked with various different agents in the area for around 15 years I can speak from experience , the service Rebecca and her team deliver exceeds a lot of other agents in the market. I've had the pleasure of working with Rebecca as both landlord and as a property seller. With extensive industry and local knowledge I was reassured through regular communication and updates during the tenant finding process that Acorn provide a conscientious service tailoring the needs of both the landlord and the tenant to ensure good fit for all parties. Following this I utilised the full management package and found this to provide great value for money and peace at mind.
