We recently bought our first home through Julian Wadden Stockport, and Eilish made the whole process incredibly easy for us. She handled everything smoothly between the seller and both solicitors, giving us complete peace of mind throughout. Brilliant experience selling my house with Julian Wadden. Whilst viewings were being conducted on our flat due to the landlord deciding to sell, the estate agent decided it was completely appropriate to allow the individual viewing the property to stand on our sofa with their dirty, wet shoes on and didn’t feel like it was necessary to advise them not to. When I contacted them to express how utterly disrespected and angered we felt by this we had the below response from their assistant branch manager Eilish Coe: “I cannot comment on the sofa as my colleague is not in today however we would not encourage people to step onto furniture during a viewing.” No acknowledgment and no apology. Assuming because we were private tenants and not their direct clients so they couldn’t care less. Never heard from them again regarding the matter, despite our landlord apologising on their behalf. Vile company with vile employees.

We would highly recommend Julian Wadden as an estate agent. From the beginning they were fair with their valuation and helpful with energy certification and advertising. Eilish was especially superb in her communication with us and always responded to our emails , usually in the space of an hour!!! She was the actual person who sold our property through asking us questions that the buyer wanted to know , gathering our responses and feeding back to him immediately. We couldn’t have wished for a better person to support us in a very important process. She took the stress out of what could have been a difficult situation. Convinced half of these reviews are fake. The lettings team absolutely botched up my flat. They had a month to sort mould, broken fridge, missing blinds, blown fuse and absolutely disgusting walls and a pigeon nest which was reported in the inventory. Yet most of these only got sorted a month into the tenancy and I am being gaslit for all the problems as they are still trying to downplay all this and claim it is “habitable” when even their own inspector said he wouldnt sleep in this flat. Still waiting on a resolution but their staff could not care less. STAY VERY CLEAR Edit: It is now 2026 and they still take an average of 2 months to go through repairs as they prefer to cheap out. My flat no longer has any ventilation, a discovered broken headboard and exposed wiring that they ignored again in the inventory and FILTHY vents through the electrical heaters that clearly haven’t been cleaned in the 10 years the previous tenant was here, creating a serious fire hazard. They do not care about people’s health in this company. Their reply is quite the contradictory, as I have to chase your property manager for updates around the clock to even get things moving, nothing is taken seriously at all.

I have recently dealt with Julian Wadden estate agents regarding the sale of my Dads house in Reddish. The situation was not like a usual house sale as I was dealing with the house sale on his behalf due to his recent dementia diagnosis. Everyone at Julian Wadden understood the situation me and my family were in and did everything they could to make the process easy. The communication throughout the whole sale was excellent and any of the information after viewings was detailed and helped us keep track of the market. I would like to give a special mention to Lee Westwell who was dealing with me personally with the sale mostly over the phone because i don’t live in the area where the house was being sold. There were a few set backs with buyers for the property but he offered solid advice and through perseverance and sticking to our agreed selling price we finally got it over the line, even though I know he dreaded ringing me at times with the bad news. Thanks againt to the whole team and I would highly recommend Julian Wadden estate agents .
