I really, really wish I had not answered my phone to these people. They suggested I request valuations from three agents their (useful) top line data suggests are good performers. I absentmindedly agreed with them, as this was something I was planning to do over the course of the next couple of days. The next thing I know they have sent valuation requests on my behalf and I get calls from those three agents.THIS SERVICE IS NOT FREE!!! They will charge the agent a finders fee of 0.25% of the total sale price. The agent will pass this on to the vendor in the form of a higher commission, all for something anyone can easily do themselves.As a result, the three agents I was 'referred to' will likely lose out on my business because they will be more expensive thanks to Get Agent. This is a parasitic business, as a vendor you DO NOT need them!

These people are not providing this service out of the goodness of their own hearts. Reading the positive comments on here it seems that people simply do not realise that this service is NOT free. They will be paid by the estate agent. And the estate agent will either provide you with a poorer service ( because he is not being paid as much ) or increase his charge to you. It is always much better to approach three or more agents directly (just phone them) and get three quotes. There is no need for these middlemen.

I came across this site when looking for an estate agent. I am always a bit wary of contacting intermediaries because there’s often hidden catches. However this time I was pleasantly surprised. Within half an hour I was called by Dan Erskine who explained how Get Agent works and local selling information. within a couple of hours I had been called by three agents and got appointments set up for valuations. When I changed my estate agent to one you recommended, it sounded like you had the expectation that this estate agent would get more viewing and have an offer, but that not what I have experienced. I reduced my price again by another £5000 had one viewing, but heard nothing else, no more viewing and you said you had 3 interested party and would pass the details to this estate agent but not heard nothing.
