GoogleI had a great experience with this company who sold my mother’s house in just 9 weeks from putting it on the market to completing. Sharon was my main point of contact who kept me informed of progress all the way through. For me it was a great result and I was very pleased with their professionalism during the whole process. GoogleI've just exchanged on my flat purchase with Gascoigne Halman Heaton Moor after long delays due to my solicitors. If it wasn't for Sharon and the team I would of pulled out a long while ago. The support she's given throughout this process has been so amazing I cant thank her enough. She went above and beyond for me at every step of the way. I'm a first time buyer on my own and my solicitors have been so hard to communicate with, however Sharon has explained everything to me from start to finish. I really wouldn't of been able to do it without her. Thank you SO much Sharon, you are an absolute star.

GoogleWe recently completed the sale of our house and our experience with Gascoigne Halman was smooth from start to finish from first valuation to handing over the keys. Communication was great and the team proactively updated us along the way. At valuation Adam was knowledgeable about the market and we had a really open and detailed discussion. Adam, George and Sharon handled the rest of the process with viewings, offers and negotiations and regular updates expertly. The most genuine Estate Agents I've ever experienced. Would definitely recommend to others and use again in future.

I would try to steer clear of this company if possible. We have rented a property through this agency and it has been a nightmare. Communication is horrendous, you cannot get hold of anyone at all. We even went into the branch about our queries and still were told that no one was available and someone would contact us (which they didn’t). The property was not ready for us to move into on the agreed date and we were not told about this until we chased and chased about needing more info on moving in.

Adam and Team kept all parties informed of the status of our move and despite it taking some time he was able to keep the chain alive even though we had someone pull out. The service was very personal and we felt fully engaged all the way.Sharon and George were not only helpful but diligent and tenacious in finding buyers for our property. Absolutely terrible experience with this letting agent. After the landlord withdrew an agreed offer, we were left out of pocket and still have not had our deposit returned. Communication has been poor throughout, with constant delays and little accountability. We felt completely unsupported and ignored when trying to resolve the issue fairly. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before dealing with this agency. They tried to make us send them thousands of pounds with no contract given then last minute withdrew the offer and are refusing to give the deposit back. Absolutely dreadful agency.

Absolutely excellent from start to finish of the house sale - one local agent kept phoning to see if we 'had come to a decision to market the property' which lost them any business, whereas GH did the visit to see the place and then said they'd leave us alone and it was up to us to give it the go-ahead or not. No pestering - excellent. Once we gave them the thumbs-up we had a string of viewers within days, and eventually exceeded the guide price by a small margin which suggests the guide price was accurate too. The staff at Gascoigne Halman were always on hand and worked brilliantly, especially Georgia who made sure everyone was kept in touch with any and all news and developments as things progressed, resulting in a sale a fortnight before Christmas which was exactly what buyers and sellers wanted. I would heartily recommend this outift.

Googlejust Google rogue landlord 'beckhall properties' and you will see the type of people Gascoigne Halman work for. trying to charge me £80 to defrost a freezer and charging £300 for plastering despite no damage being done. throughout my tenancy the landlord wasnt responsive, it took them 2 months to fix a shower and a cooker. when I moved in there was mould everywhere. It's single glazing and had no heating throughout last winter. never had such a rude letting agency before. disgrace.

Google5 star experience, I would like to thank Sharon Prestwood especially in sales, I was in the process of buying a house and she came in and took control of the sale and made sure nothing was missed and all parties were updated accordingly. She kept me in the loop in every aspect and it was a smooth sale and it was because of how she managed it. Can’t thank her enough. I would also like to give Dave some credit too as he gave me lots of very good advice regarding the mortgage and surveys which I took on board and he helped me a lot. Really nice guy. Highly recommend GH to anyone looking to hit or sell. Thanks Danny

GoogleUnfair Deposit Deduction and poor service. After completing our tenancy with Gascoigne halman. Despite leaving the property in what we believed to be a clean and acceptable condition.We received a £550 deposit claim, including charges for cleaning (£250), decoration and painting (£150), and a radiator leak (£115). I have rented this apartment for 1 year.When we first moved into the property, it was in poor condition and had a noticeable odour. We raised this with the agency several times, but no action was taken. Bathroom cealing water leak and light damage have reported multiple times through mails and calls and it took them months to repair this and after coming they didn't repaired this completely , paints started to fall again, due to leaked wall ceiling.Ongoing issue eventually caused ceiling damage and now we are responsible to pay for this. 2. The boiler and heater was also damaged and remained unrepaired for a week despite repeated escalations. Throughout our tenancy, we did not have any leaking radiators, we haven't done anything on walls, was kept like how they had given to us. Cleaned the house thoroughly and given back to them. Our experience has been deeply disappointing, and I hope this review encourages greater fairness and transparency for future tenants.

GoogleI have recently moved house, and cannot fault Gascoigne and Halman Heaton Moor. George showed me around the property and at no point did I feel pressured on pushed into a sale. He was informative, understanding and reassuring of my situation. Sharon has also been super friendly, knowledgeable and kept in regular and frequent contact with me regarding advice and updates about the sale. I would definitely consider using Gascoigne and Halman again in the future, and would also recommend them to friends and family. 10/10.

GooglePOOR SERVICE AND IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR Im the guardian for the tenancy of my brother and sister in law at Heaton moor road. I'm forced to give this review, as we have completed the tenancy with GH, left the property and today we have got a deposit claim of 550£ ( 250 for cleaning, 150 for decorating, 115 for radiator leak etc) . I have been tenant to multiple landlords in the past before buying my own property and never seen anything like this before. Though, the property was stinking when we moved in, this was escalated multiple times and no action was taken from agency or landlord, the boiler was damaged and remained like that for 1 week, with no repairs even after multiple escalation. We didn't have a leaking radiator and didn't cause any damage to paint works other than minor wear and tears. Bathroom lights were providing lights and additional water from above bathrooms, and remained like that for months to repair. This has caused damage to the ceiling and now they want us to sort this. We already expected these scams form Gascoigne Halman and the landlord and has escalated every issues early through emails and we have photographs. Please make sure you escalate issues and damages to the agency in time through emails so that you won't be charged unnecessary at the end . We are planning to act through the DPS to get our refund back in complete.
