Oakton estates are by far the worst letting agent I have ever used in the 10 years I have been renting. Shortly after moving in to the rental property the roof developed a significant leak which would result in puddles on the floor of the kitchen after rainfall and eventually the partial collapse of the ceiling. Additionally, water damage began to manifest in other rooms in the house including the second bedroom, upstairs hallway ceiling, and bathroom. The leaking roof took ~ 18 months to be fixed and despite both polite and irate (we tried both) requests by e-mail and phone to make the cosmetic repairs to the property to put it right we never saw this work completed. Interestingly, after leaving the property, I kept my eye on the online property websites and noticed that once the house in question was back on the rental market all the cosmetic repairs had been completed, funny how something that was apparently so hard to do while there were paying renters present was so easily completed once the house had to be presentable to the market. I'll let you draw your own conclusions on that observation.

I’ve used Oakton’s on a couple of occasions to find rented accommodation and have always found them to be very professional and accommodating,both times they found exactly the type of property I was interested in even to the point of saying I didn’t see much point in consulting another agents as they knew exactly what my needs were,I’m settled now thanks to them but if I feel the need to move again,I’ll give them a call,tell them the area I want to go to and leave it to them,they take the pain out of a frustrating process,thanks Oakton Estates.

We had researched our choice of selling agent for our property and this agency was recommended by many professionals; solicitors and other agents as well as friends. Although not near to where we lived, we have had the most positive experience imaginable. This office were happy to work with our choice of viewing agent, Moss Westwood, so that we could trust and brief him, as due to covid regulations we should not be present at viewings. All appointments were punctually and professionally kept, all information passed to and dealt with promptly, all enquiries investigated and answered. And all without delay or repeating a request! My partner and I rented a property from Oaktons for 2 years and have nothing but praise for them. From the moment we were showed around the property to the moment we handed the keys back we had such support from all of the team. Any issues we had with the house (which there weren't many) were dealt with immediately. Everyone was very professional but also very down to earth and caring.
