I just wanted to say a big thank you to Neil for sorting out a serious leak at my property and getting it fixed in time for my new tenants move in date. It really took the stress out of having to organise tradesmen myself, and I really appreciated being kept up to date with regular photos and updates throughout. Also, a special mention to Elliot. It's always such a pleasure to speak with him! He’s so proactive, gets things done quickly, and found me a tenant in no time. Always friendly and approachable. I really appreciate all the help and support from both of you!

Neil, what a lovely man you are. We have just moved our mother in law who is 80 and the class, compassion, care and effort Neil and his team put in was first class. They made a stressful experience so much easier and communication and effort was as good as it gets. Words I would never normally use with Estate Agents I would with this team such as honest and thoughtful. Neil even turned up on moving morning with coffee and pastries, nice touch. Where to begin....It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Neil and his team. They were so much more helpful than the agents we used to sell our property! Simply because they are renting out the property above me which is a 1 bedroom flat and they have moved in 2 adults and four children ..My Partner is being treated for Brain,Spine and Kidney Cancer. I have complained again and again and they are doing nothing .. The couple have denied the children belong to them and have even called the police on me because I complained about a leak in there flat which damaged my microwave,Alexa and kettle and the ceiling ..This is causing so much stress to my Partner and myself..He needs sleep at times during the day and cannot sleep because of the constant noise..The flat also has laminate flooring which makes it even more unbearable..Stressed to the Max thanks to Homes & Mortgage who are just rubbing their hands through greed . They have been no help in resolving this issue in nearly a year .

Today I was faced with yet another extremely rude member of staff by the name of Elliot, who had the audacity to enter the property that I rent and call me names to the surveyor that he was showing the house too. Prior to the arrival of said member of staff, this establishment has been and were reminded that no access would be granted to my private bedroom ( I have repeatedly relayed this, yet continue to have to say it everytime). This did not stop Elliot, not only knocking on my door at 9am...but after it woke me up, I panicked and scrambled to put clothes on and answer ..Upon walking into the hallway I was faced with this member of staff boldly telling the surveyor that 'oh I knocked and tried, She is in there but she is very difficult'. This slander and defamation of character are completely unacceptable and I will be considering legal action as this is not the first time I have had to deal with being treated disgustingly by the majority of those who work at this establishment. I had also never met Elliot before today. What I will say though is that a gentleman by the name of Robert has been the only one to treat me with common curtesy and respect after a conversation we had where I explained my mental health illness and the impact that this companies actions and staff members has had on me, to which I am grateful for.

Let me start by saying I am a real customer and do not know anyone from H&M personally, from the first viewing to completion took 10 months, this is not usual and was due to circumstances out of my and H&M'S control, during this time peter and the team always remained professional, polite, and most importantly patient, I was always kept informed of viewings, and during the sale process I was always given information, potential time frames, and anything i required, I would 100% use H&M again and recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in stevenage or the surrounding areas.

Don’t really know or trust that the vendor has received my offers, which are over the asking price and generally what’s going on. Feels like there’s ulterior motives. No queries answered in regards to property. Would not recommend.

Brilliant service from Lee and Peter. Lee had shown my wife around the house the evening it went for sale which was brilliant and it worked out well as we offered straight away. From then Lee and Peter arranged additional viewings at convenient times for us on a couple of occasions without hesitation. Once the legal processes started Peter kept us up to date on what was going on and was a pleasure to deal with. Having recently sold a property through H&M, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would recommend their services to both sellers and buyers. From the start Peter was proactive in generating interest in our house. Sammy was always available to answer queries and kept us updated throughout the whole process. I agree with others reviews that the team at H&M have a good rapport with local solicitors, and actively communicated with them on our behalf. Lee Kitching was fantastic dealing with the mortgage side, and is highly recommended!!! My wife and I recently moved into Old Town from London and H&M were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We were buying our first property and everyone told us that buying a house is one of the most stressful things you can do, but this could not have been further from the truth and that is largely down to the service we received from Sammie Button at H&M. We are new to the area and after giving Sammie our criteria for a property and she managed to find somewhere that fitted us perfectly. Her advice was sound, she never once pressured us and gained our trust very quickly. Throughout the entire process of the purchase the service we received was efficient and easy. We would recommend to everyone. Furthermore, after our offer had been accepted, we were introduced to Lee Kitching who arranged our mortgage for us. We had spoken to several other mortgage advisors regarding our mortgage options and in every respect Lee was by far and away the best person we spoke to. Looking for my first flat out of university to rent was made a lot more satisfying with H&M, both properties I viewed with Sammie were immaculate and the information I needed for starting a tenancy was printed out for me to look through at the viewing. Very transparent, communication was great, and the attitude from them was very much a 'we're looking to help you find a property that suits you'.
