We completed a house sale in March 2026 and were very impressed with the service we received from Boxall Brown and Jones. We are particularly grateful to Anthony and Dawn for all their hard work. Dawn was our day to day contact and the service she provided was excellent. She was professional and consistently well organised, always following up on calls and providing updates exactly when she said she would. What we appreciated most was her calm, persistent approach and her helpful advice during what was a stressful time for us. We would happily recommend Boxall Brown and Jones to anyone looking for an estate agent in Derby.

Boxall Brown and Jones in Derby were the estate agents dealing with the sale of the house we have just bought, the purchase itself was frought with issues and delays from a third party, but Claire was an absolute star, she was on top of everything the moment it hit her desk. I can't say a bad word about how Claire and her colleagues handled this, thanks so much for solving the problems that weren't yours to solve! The agent Dawn Barker at BB&J, Derby was an absolute angel throughout the process of our purchase. Not only did she keep us updated and fully informed on all matters relating to the purchase, she also stepped into the breach when our sales solicitor turned the conveyancing process into a real nightmare. Dawn was friendly, helpful and transparent in explaining the hiccups in the process and she was the epitome of efficient in getting things done that needed to be done. She was also a great source of support comfort and calm during my many ranting/upset telephone calls. She has the patience of a saint and is excellent with customer service 😊. BB&J were remarkable to say the least. Despite the delays with completion, they ensured access to the property on a key undertaking so that it didn't jeopardies our moving date. We used Boxall, Brown and Jones Estate Agents previously and were really impressed with the professionalism of the whole team. From the back office to Anthony the evaluator, to the agents, on this occasion Claire, you really feel you are being taken care of and your best interests are at the heart of what they are doing. We thought the market was going to be difficult, but our house sold in a week and came to a successful conclusion just above the asking price. My mother bought and sold thru Boxall Brown, so I felt obliged to use them to sell her house. Lucky for me, I had Chris Birds and Claire Taylor managing the sale. Chris handled the photos, getting it to market asap as it was a deceased estate and trying to beat the winter blues for photos. He listened and gently navigated me thru the English sales system, (of which I had not used). Claire held my hand during the 3 month process of dealing with the solicitors and all that paperwork! I can’t say enough good things about the experience I’ve had from Boxall, Brown and Jones in selling my dad’s flat. They have been incredibly professional, supportive and approachable from the initial valuation and invaluable advice I was given when putting the flat on the market to the excellent communication all the way through the sale until we finally completed today. Claire has helped me find an excellent solicitor for the conveyance, a great firm to help me clear dad’s flat and has been brilliant at keeping me informed of our buyer’s situation and liaising between me and them. She is extremely professional (always promptly replying to emails and phone calls) but is also a very warm and friendly person who puts you at ease and never makes you feel you’re asking daft questions throughout what could have been a very difficult and stressful situation.
