We honestly cannot thank William, Tom, Alfie and Frank enough for everything they did for us. Our sale was not easy at all, with a previous buyer withdrawing, after which we were understandably very anxious for the rest of the process. From that point on, they were outstanding. They kept us calm, kept the sale moving, and gave us brilliant advice every step of the way. At a time when it would have been very easy to feel overwhelmed, they were steady, reassuring and proactive throughout. What made the difference was not just their professionalism, but the way they handled everything with patience, honesty and genuine care. Paul and I were very happy with the professional way in which William Whitelock handled and organised the sale of our house in Staines. The valuation was fair, the pictures that their photographer used were amazing; our house looked like a show home! the viewings were done at the weekend which worked well for us given our work pattern. William gave us prompt feedback after every viewing and always acted in our best interests. William was great at answering all of our questions and made what could've been a stressful process very smooth. We bought house through Gregory Brown and we have mixed feeling about how the whole process went. We Viewed 2-3 properties through Gregory brown and all the viewings went well, no concerns there. The issue started in the process of purchase. There were no proper communication from Gregory Brown on the onward chain and every time we tried to communicate regarding the process with them, they were either not available or were rude to answer any queries. On the day of Exchange we were in stress as the buyer for our property had issues with his mortgage, and adding to the stress was Tom from Gregory Brown who was calling us for updates. Where all the information was with the Solicitors and we were also relying on the Solicitors. To sum it up, I believe they can do better job at communication as the whole process of buying and selling property is stressful.

We initially made contact with William Whitelock in June 2023. We had 4 estate agents value the property and then put the property on the market with 1 of the 4 estate agents. Long story short we had the property on the market with 2 other estate agents before asking Gregory Brown to sell the property for us. The UK housing market was up and down and we had a couple of offers less than what we hoped to achieve. The process with Tom Elliott in Gregory Brown has been seamless. My experience with GB Estate Agents was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. After making an offer on a property, there was a clear lack of communication and transparency from the estate agent, in particular William. Despite repeated assurances that he would "come back to us" and that we could expect an answer shortly, it became evident that William was being dishonest. My cousin, who resides next door to the property, informed me that the sellers had accepted another offer two weeks prior. It appears that William deliberately avoided our calls and instructed staff to claim he was unavailable, rather than providing an honest update on the situation. This level of evasiveness and lack of candour is unacceptable in any professional service industry. As a real estate professional, William had an obligation to represent our interests as buyers faithfully and diligently. However, his actions, or lack thereof, suggest he likely failed to even present our offer to the sellers, depriving us of a fair opportunity. No buyer should be subjected to such disregard for their interests and deliberate deception. Until this day we have not received any communication from William telling us that the property has been sold.
