We are sorry that you have not been satisfied with your experience with us. It is common practice for letting Agents to outsource referencing as it is the best way to ensure we have a reliable profile of our applicants to confirm affordability and suitability for our properties. We understand it is frustrating when the results of a reference are unsatisfactory this is as much for us a disappointment as it is for you. Ultimately we can only offer a tenancy if the landlord allows us to and we maintain communication with all parties at all times as much as possible. If you still feel you need further explanation about your particular reference please contact us again to discuss we are happy to explain the process to you and in what circumstances we are entitled to retain any funds under legislation. We understand that it is not always convenient to register through the app or that for some IT is a challenge to navigate but I'm hoping after you called the office and you then used our ACE maintenance reporting system - FIXFLO you could see the benefits. It is now essential for Agents to have TRANSPARANCY and ACCOUNTABILITY when handling maintenance and this is to protect you and the landlord and ensure that maintenance is handled without undue delays which may result in a breach in housing law. FIXFLO is an award winning software and well received by the majority of our clients (tenants, landlords and contractors!) I know since you left this review you were subsequently able to log onto the site, your landlord was informed within minutes, a CONTRACTOR WAS BOOKED and we believe ATTENDED and we contacted you today to check work was complete to your SATISFACTION. I know this because the system allows me to track the journey with the METICULOUS NOTES that your PROPERTY MANAGER left for me to see. I am sure you must also be happy with the SWIFT RESOLUTION. In the future if you are not able to log your own maintenance please feel free to call us direct and explain that it is not convenient to log the issue online - we are then more than happy to do this on your behalf.
