Tracy at Arden park has been fantastic throughout the buying experience even when I decided to switch plots she made everything simple and easy. After visiting many different developments and countless visits the customer service at Shelbourne Estates has been by far the best of any builder. A big credit to the company I haven’t been easy to deal with and asked so many questions but always takes the time to answer everything.

Very disappointing experience with Morris Homes. We purchased our new-build apartment in 2022 and were given a LABC Warranty cover note, but it took almost four years to finally obtain the warranty certificate. The issue became critical when we decided to sell our apartment, as our buyer’s solicitor required the certificate and our sale was put at risk because of the delay. Despite repeated emails and chasing, communication from Morris Homes was extremely poor. We even submitted a formal complaint, which was completely ignored, we received no response whatsoever, not even an automated acknowledgement. We eventually had to escalate the matter, including contacting our MP/councillor, before the situation was finally resolved. Thankfully, we have now received the certificate, but the amount of time, stress and uncertainty caused by this process was completely unacceptable. I hope Morris Homes improves its communication, complaint handling and after-sales support so other homeowners don’t have to go through the same experience.

From start to finish, nothing was ever too much trouble, no question was too small, and no request was an inconvenience. Ann made everything feel effortless and kept us reassured every step of the way. Her professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care made such a difference to our home-buying journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful for all her support.

Having moved into our new build home in June we can honestly say the team at Hugglescote have been excellent!! Jack and Pauline helped with the purchase they provided all the information we needed and just getting everything sorted - from the day we phoned to make an enquiry to making our reservation Jack was able to answer our (many) questions. We were pleasantly surprised by the build quality and the ‘extra features’ that were included as standard - turfed garden/burglar alarm/outside tap and spot lights in kitchen and bathroom. Following completion and moving in the site team - Martin and Richard were on hand to help with our snagging list - most of which were very minimal and all sorted out in relatively good timing and with very minimal disruption to ourselves.

We moved in a couple of months ago and have had an excellent experience. Ali in the sales office has been incredibly helpful, friendly, and very patient with us. We weren’t the quickest to make a decision (we never are), but Ali gave us the space to go at our speed. She walked us through the process clearly and confidently, even though at the time she’d only just moved to the site herself. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Once finished the estate should be very nice, and most visitors we’ve had have specifically commented on how spread out things feel. Worth also praising the guys in the site office who have been very helpful and friendly.

We were looking for a new and bigger house for the kids to grow up in, in a neighbourhood that feels "organic" rather than planned at a drawing board. A few weeks ago, we have moved into our new home in Shelbourne Estates - The Orchards, and found just that. The purchase process was smooth and we felt genuinely supported by the Shelbourne team throughout. The few snags that we have found since moving in were quickly resolved.

A genuinely brilliant experience with Morris Homes We recently bought our new home from Morris Homes and, from start to finish, the experience has been absolutely first class. From the sales team who helped us through the buying process, to the after-sales team and the maintenance guys, everyone has been fantastic. Nothing ever seems too much trouble and they genuinely cannot do enough for you. The quality of the house has also really impressed us. We had very few snags when we moved in, and those we did have were only minor and have been dealt with quickly and professionally. Buying a new home can be stressful, but Morris Homes have made the whole experience incredibly positive. For us, this has been the gold standard of how buying a new-build home should be. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Having now been in our home just under 2 months we can say we have had a wonderful experience with Morris home. Jack in sales and the site management - Martin and Richard have been great - nothing has been too much trouble! We had a few minor snags when we moved in -nothing out of the ordinary biggest and they were efficient at getting them sorted for us, not everything happened over night but everything was completed in a timely manner and nothing was too disruptive for us. Jack has been helpful in reporting any issues for us and helped us with any questions we might have. The whole process of buying our new home has been made very smooth with the help of Jack and Pauline in the sales team, they have bother been so helpful and always very friendly and approachable.

We recently purchased a new property on the grange estate - was very excited as we had an older property before and looking forward to having all new. The service before completion cannot fault Morris Homes. Very helpful until we exchanged contracts - the 1st couple of months the property was great, then the issues started, which we expected being a new build. What we wasnt expecting was the lack of customer care from Morris. We are nearly 18 months in and still refusing to sign happy with the purchase. So far our bi fold doors have been attended to 7 times and adjusted as they keep sticking with us having to use our annual leave and wait in all day (issue not been resolved 18 months in). We have also had 6 visits for ticking pipes all through the house, had my ceiling ripped out patched 3 times with plasters and painter and cleaners coming ever other day. Again this issue hasnt been resolved and are still ticking with no luck from Morris of having it sorted. I have had two new front doors as they wouldnt lock and sit right (this is one issue now resolved). The area manager doesnt respond to any emails and seems to ignore us even though he was supposed to be dealing with the issues. The site manager we have never seen so all in all the after care is awful but the house is lovely if issues have been sorted.
