I bought a flat through Dexters St Margarets and the team was very kind and helpful. Ian Kempt in particular was instrumental to getting my purchase through, handling all the intricacies of the chain, always staying on top of any missing information for solicitors, and kindly answering everyone's endless questions. If Ian's on your case, you're in good hands. Louis my sales consultant was also diligent, always readily available, and always very kind. For both of them, I would rate 5/5 and would strongly recommend working with. The only disappointment with Dexters, hence a final rating of 4, was their strong push for buyers/sellers to use their partnered solicitor. Because someone in my chain did use their recommended solicitor, our purchase process was delayed for an unnecessary 1+ month from endless follow ups and long periods of unanswered questions. The choice to push sellers/buyers to use this firm reflects poorly on Dexters, and I advise against going with them even if you're pressured into it with promises of "it'll speed up the process." Hire a solicitor who has your best interest, not someone with a large caseload who might not pay as much attention to you.

Very impressed with the way we were treated by Dexters from the manager Alex who took our initial call, to the agent who showed us round properties, Ted. We explained from the start that our home wasn't on the market yet, but we needed to get an idea what was available in the area we wanted, if and when we downsize/downvalue -- which we'll have to at some stage. Dexters were efficient, friendly, and -- we felt -- honest with us, answering all our questions. When we do come to sell our family home we will certainly consider them for both the sale and purchase.
