I cannot recommend Neil Skeggs and the team at Wyatt Hughes highly enough. Their professionalism and support during the sale of my late aunt’s property was greatly appreciated. As the seller of the property, and being in the North of England, Neil and the team went above and beyond in helping with a lot of the tasks of selling the property on my behalf. They kept me informed of all viewings and provided feedback after each visit, in addition to ensuring the property was looked after in my absence. Their knowledge and understanding of the local property market and area helped to ensure a smooth and efficient sale within 8 weeks of the property being placed on the market. I have recently bought a property in St Leonards-on-Sea and want to share my brilliant experience of working with agents Wyatt Hughes, particularly Ben Dymond - a real diamond! who has gone over and above to not only look after the vendor's interest, but so incredibly helpful to support me during negotiations and leading up to contracts with patience and recommendations on endless questions - buying a period property on the seafront is a first for me as a DFL! and the hours of their time to provide access to meet builders (for quotes) and my must-be tiresome queries so I can exercise necessary diligence on restoration and repairs, this agency has been accommodating beyond expectation. They have taken on much of the work that a lawyer would do to put me in touch with the various third party management co. freeholders etc, so I can receive consent to do the works I aim to do - nothing is too much trouble and for every seemingly problem that arises, they have a solution. Estate Agents often get a bad rap, but Wyatt Hughes set the bar so high, that I felt I had to write this review - As someone investing in East Sussex property, they have a found a client for life! I can't recommend to buy from them or to sell via them enough

A very rare occasion to be celebrated of an excellent experience with an estate agent. Ben Dymond was the perfect mix of professional, efficient, friendly, pointed out all the 'pros' of the flat during the viewing but didn't try to do the 'pushy' salesman bit. He was unhurried, let me take my time, he came back super-quickly (the next day) on both occasions that I had questions for a Vendor. He came across as a person to be trusted - a somewhat rare thing with so many estate agents. Thank you - very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I didn’t end up buying a property from Wyatt Hughes but by far, this was the most professional and friendly agency I dealt with in St Leonards and Hastings. Josh is a really nice guy, professional, patient and super friendly. I felt he listened and understood what I was looking for and did not resort to the hard sell so many estate agents can't help themselves getting into. The other staff members I met from this agency were also really friendly and genuine people. I was the buyer of a Ground Floor Flat property in Carisbrooke Road, St Leonards-On-Sea. The estate agent that I approached for viewing was Wyatt Hughes in St Leonards. The buying process was from Oct 2024 (1st contact) till April (completion). During this period I was in continual contact with mostly three members of staff (Jo, Sophie and Neil) from the Wyatt Hughes office for all manner of actvities associated with my purchase. Here are some bullet points of my experience: They were - Easy to contact: For setting up the first and subsequent viewings (sometimes at very short notice). To ask questions about the property (by email and by phone). - Always helpful and showed initiative: They were always willing to answer my questions as best they could, willing to pass on information, be a conduit for communication with the seller and also communication between myself and another stake-holder in the purchase of the property. Ah, and another example: they were willing to return to the property at short notice because I'd left my rucksack at the property after a viewing. - Very knowledgeable: They were very knowledgeable about the market and what was happening in terms of properties in that area, and what I was told was very helpful for my decision making. - Flexible and patient: An example is that I once booked a visit appointment for a trades-person to survey a boundary wall of the property. I and the trades-person had a mix-up with the schedule. Jo, who had the keys was willing to wait until I and the trades-person phoned and decided to abort and arrange another visit appointment. This put Jo under considerable time pressure, and I very much appreciated the patience. - Very professional and communicative: They provided prompt replies to emails. When there were periods where the purchase process appeared stuck because I, the seller and our solicitors had different opinions, the agents would request progress and would be willing to help to keep thing moving. In summary, I would whole-heartedly recommend Wyatt Hughes St Leonards to anyone considering purchasing a property in that area.
