Darren has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process of moving a new tenant into my property. He kept me updated every step of the way, was always quick to respond, and helped sort out the bits that were left in the house to make sure everything was ready for the new tenant. Thanks to his support and professionalism, the entire process went through very smoothly and was much less stressful than I expected. I cannot recommend Reeds rain and Dora and Alfie enough who operate on the Lettings Team. Dora is incredibly helpful, professional and full of advice and steer. I had a range of questions and Dora was quick to reply, offer a perspective and guidance. It was my contact with Dora specifically made me progress with Dora and I am very pleased that I did so. Alfie was also very helpful with getting activity over the line from a practical perspective, quick to reply and very willing to action whatever was needed. What can we say? We first contacted Reeds Rains around two years ago, and from the moment we met Emily, she understood exactly what we needed. We initially listed our property just as interest rates began to rise and the market slowed, so with all the uncertainty we decided to take our home off the market until conditions improved. The trust we built with Reeds Rains never wavered, and when we finally decided to sell, we chose them again because we knew they would deliver. Our home sold within the first week of being listed, job done. Absolutely not! Through regular contact, Lauren and Emily managed our chain with authority, honesty, politeness, and professionalism. From daily updates and chasing solicitors to picking up the slack from other estate agents and keeping everyone on track, they were outstanding. There were points where our sale could have collapsed, but Emily and Lauren stepped in and kept everything moving. Moving home doesn’t have to be stressful. Unfortunately, not everyone has that experience, but Reeds Rains made sure the stress and anxiety were handled, giving us confidence that everything was progressing, even when paperwork was sitting on solicitors’ desks. Would we recommend them? Absolutely, in a heartbeat.

I was not a customer of Reeds Rains but wished I was. I used a different estate agent and they were terrible. However, as I sold me property to a person who was selling theirs via Reeds Rains, I liaised with Lauren at Reeds Rains frequently. Lauren was very professional and hard working and took up the challenge of doing everything possible to help her customer who was buying my property. This helped to make my nightmare of a sale happen quicker and also helped me to be more informed about the progress of my sale as it was a struggle to get answers from my own estate agent. Right from start to finish the process, service and staff have been amazing. Jen went out of her way for us to view a property and within half an hour we’d put an offer in. We were in a unique position of both selling and buying a house with Reeds Rains, St Helens and had a fantastic experience for both. Despite the experience having its frustrations and what at time felt like lengthy complications (banks and solicitors), Jen made sure that it was as painless as possible and was always there to support with the challenges and offer helpful advice throughout. I highly recommend Reeds Rains, St Helens. Emily, the manager, combines professionalism and an acute awareness of the marketplace, with a warm and friendly personality. After visiting the property, she quickly assessed the best route for a sale, which happened to be the ‘Modern Method of Auction’. All viewing of the property was conducted by Adam of Reeds Rains and I was kept up-to-date by Jane and Kelly. The Auction Specialist was Georgia of iam-property in Newcastle upon Tyne, and the house was sold in just two weeks. Conveyancing by the sister company, Medway-Law, took another four. One-and-a-half months from viewing to exchange of contracts is very impressive! Throughout the process, everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, helpful, patient and friendly. Five stars all round - beginning with Reeds Rains, St Helens.

If you have a unique property please avoid this company. When selling our property we had three valuations. Jenifer box the Territory Manager came from reeds rains. She is very old school - measured each room and recording information what was in each room I.e radiators and double glazing etc. she then old us we wouldn’t get a penny over £600k. I questioned this as I knew the property's worth but she stuck with the £600k valuation. The other two valuations came in at £800k. We obviously used a different agency and sold the property in less than a week for £785k. I would definitely be cautious using a company with such outdated views.
