Roni Rachi from Hamptons St Albans has been helping us with the rental of our properties for a number of years now. We have been landlords for a long time and he is definitely the most diligent letting agent we have ever come across. Roni is proactive, thorough and meticulous when it comes to screening and vetting our potential tenants. He takes the initiative to verify their background before presenting the best candidates to us for consideration. Communication is key and Roni always keeps us posted on progress. He makes the whole process of finding a tenant easy for us and ensures all bases are covered right through to check-in. We always feel that we are in safe hands. How I wish that all estate agents were like Hamptons in St Albans! Having sought valuations from several agents in the area for my mother's property, I am so glad that I chose Grant and his team to help me sell her house. From start to finish, I was kept fully in the picture regarding all developments and given appropriate advice when necessary. Every member of the team was always up to date regarding progress with our sale and, without exception, everyone that I came into contact with was thoroughly professional and delightful to deal with. As with any sale, there were hurdles to overcome along the way but nothing was a problem for the team at Hamptons. I have bought and sold several properties in the past and Hamptons, St Albans have been the best agents I have dealt with. If I lived locally, they would definitely my first choice agent.

This is an unusual review, because it’s a review about how I wish I used Hamptons, & more specifically Grant and his team. Wife & I have been house hunting, viewing & discussing homes with Grant for some tim. His advice has been invaluable and above and beyond. Even advising us on properties we’re viewing with other agents. We ended up finding a property on the market with another agent, and marketing our home for sale with them for this reason. But in hindsight, I wish I’d sold with Hamptons as my engagements with them has been stand out impressive against all the agents I’ve come across in St Albans.

Hamptons recently sold our house and I found them outstanding throughout the whole process. Martin came to value our property. He really knew his stuff and made us feel at ease. Grant managed to sell our house very quickly and achieved us asking price. I really felt they were working for us rather than trying to pressurise us into a sale. Janine was super helpful in terms of chasing up missing docs/lawyer responses and everything leading up to exchange (especially with the upcoming stamp duty changes). My wife and I have had quite a bit of interaction with Grant and his team this year. We bought a house that was being sold through Hamptons, and also sold the house we owned through them. I can’t speak highly enough of the experience we had on both sides. Grant has a wealth of knowledge of the market, the buying/selling process and negotiations. The communication was great, Grant and the team were on top of both sides, gently but firmly nudging the process along. We felt on both the buy and sell side that the flow of information was transparent, and timelines we were given at the outset were kept to. This is something that in my experience does not always happen. Overall, a professional and friendly team, that have made what could have been an extremely stressful period, far less so. A big thanks from us. I have already recommended Hamptons St Albans to others….

This month, Hamptons helped us complete on the sale of our house and the purchase of another which they were also the agent for. I was particularly anxious about the whole process- the last time we’d bought and sold it had been a horrible nightmare from beginning to end and we really didn’t want a repeat. From the outset, each individual Hamptons team member has been outstanding- always approachable, honest, communicative and taking total accountability for their part of the process. Sujad was phenomenal at our viewings- knowledgeable, diligent and giving us helpful feedback. Grant played part-counsellor whilst skilfully negotiating the transactions on both sides of the chain. And Janine went above and beyond in the final stages to see the deal through, working beyond her hours to ensure timelines were met. Gary also offered great advice and spotted how right the new property was for us. They’re also all genuinely lovely people, who understood how much we loved the house we were selling, and how invested we were in our forever home we hoped to buy. House selling and buying is nerve-racking, with financially high-stakes, and for those very reasons I would absolutely recommend Hamptons as they really couldn’t have made the experience any smoother, or looked after us with more professionalism, kindness and skill.

Although the guys from this agency ultimately did not find us housing (we were able to find housing through friends), it was only here that we felt really interested in finding housing for us through a real estate agency! We had just arrived in St Albans, and without a history of past rentals, without a local work contract or guarantor, and even with a cat, none of the agencies seriously tried to find us housing with the possibility of monthly payment, without paying the entire annual rental contract in advance. Here we looked at several objects and according to the last one we were even ready to accept our offer! So we definitely recommend this Hamptons Estate and Letting Agents for those new to the UK.
