Top notch service from Winkworth

Winkworth has managed my rental properties for about a decade now.They have always been first rate:streets better than other agents that I have used.I have never had a void period of more than 2 weeks.Their representative,Natasha Conti,who deals with my current property,is excellent.She has an impressive knowledge of the market and of all aspects of the rental business and I have always found her advice as to property presentation extremely helpful.She certainly provides service with a smile,but there is a lot of expertise and hard work behind it.I unreservedly recommend Winkworth.

I switched to Winkworth after an unsuccessful attempt to sell my house through another big name, high street agent a few years ago. I noticed a big difference in the integrity of the people and the service. The fees were slightly better, and they really engaged with me to find the right way to promote our (somewhat unique) property. Overall, I was pleased. I have had a variety of bad experiences with estate agents, and overall I have a very low opinion of the industry. I'm sure Winkworth has their faults, but as estate agents go, I thought these folks were pretty decent.

Two agents might be better than one.

An encouraging start with a higher than expected valuation and a flexible (timewise) buyer lined up but which in the event wasn't able to be flexible and so bought elsewhere. Many subsequent viewings and second viewings but the agent failed to find a buyer to meet the agents valuation coupled with flexibility. In short, 12 weeks with this sole agency proved a complete waste of time. Regret unable to recommend.

Winkworth Tiverton took over the property management of our tenancy just under a year ago, in that space of time we had three different members of staff managing, they did absolutely nothing to assist in managing the property. The last one 'Candice' was generally rude, unprofessional and dismissive about any queries or requested repairs required.Awful company will never deal with them again nor reccomend

They offer a very personal service, I felt from all the guys that I had a relationship with them who were all looking out for my best interests and understood my requirements as a seller. In the end they got me a great deal in a tough climate at the time through good advice, energetic and persistent marketing and working with honesty and the best interests of their client at the core of what they do. Terrible

Winkworth's revalued the rented house that my daughters lived in and advised the landlord to put the rent up. He then gave my daughters their notice, despite the fact that they were good tenants and had always paid their rent on time. Winkworths didn't respect their right to quiet enjoyment one bit. According to the lease, they were supposed to give the tenants 24 hours notice of any viewings. They never did this- usually ringing a couple of hours before but on many occasions just turning up and expecting to be let in! They even let themselves in the tenants weren't there , without permission. One Saturday morning, the Winkworth agent let himself in when one of my daughters was asleep in bed! Incidently, they never managed to let the house at the higher rent!

I could not recommend the East Dulwich Team enough. They were honest, gave great advice, sold my flat super quick and then were on hand right up to completion. Super nice, effective people! Great experience with Winkworth as tenant

Winkworth is my agent for renting my flat. It is very responsible for both landlord and tenant. Every time I have problems with flat, they respond in time and find a solution for me. They don't allow direct communication between landlord and tenant, which sometimes I find can get a bit dodgy. I would recommend it for both landlord and tenant, but you need to check the contract very carefully and negotiate other rights.
