I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back.Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well.The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money.I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically.I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money.Never invest with Alesco.

I would take every review on here with a pinch of salt because Alesco push for a Trustpilot review after the initial sales process. I naively accepted this request too and have had to re-edit my entire review because really the sales process is not even half of it - and ofcourse that is the nicest part because they want your money! I was always skeptical of new build/off plan purchases but Alesco offered a development that was only being stripped out internally. I went for it as a lower risk option to test out a new-build purchase without years of waiting for a building to go up. Still the experience was poor. I received about 2 construction updates in a whole year. The developers moved deadlines like the seasons and don't tell you about it until you chase up. This all reflects on Alesco because of whose projects they choose to promote and sell. I was fortunate to secure funding for my purchase but I know Alesco agents were ringing up other investors telling them they would not be likely to get a mortgage because only a few lenders would offer one and lenders do not give too many offers on the same development. So Alesco was telling investors to either fork up the entire purchase price or lose their deposit - all with 2 weeks until completion. But, ofcourse, not a real 2 weeks because the deadline was pushed back again. Honestly, it has been such a mess and so much effort from myself to find out what is going on. That does not make me feel like a valued investor. You feel like you are just a commodity and you should sit and wait while they spend your money. I would encourage anyone buying with a loan to avoid (particularly apartment/flat) new builds. They are not worth the anxiety and there are far better returns to be made elsewhere.
