Feel like we’ve been conned out of a holding deposit and zero support from letting staff as first time renters we obtained legal advice and also been informed of being conned due to the very crafting wording of the agreement upon referencing and credit and non refundable deposits

Started looking at potentially buying a property however wasn’t sure on where to start. Tried using Google and read articles etc however I wasn’t finding it helpful. I like local to park gate so though I might aswell call up a local estate agents and see if anyone could give advice and have a chat about it. Spoke to a lady called Lauren who was very knowledgeable and friendly, she explained how everything works when buying a property and even suggested a few properties to look at on the website! However circumstances have changed and I won’t be buying at this current time, however when I do I’ll be heading to beals! Thank you for all the help!

*DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENCY* Kirsty Millie, Maxine Faulkner and Hayley Gooding from the Southsea treated me with such disrespect throughout my tenancy. They lied to me about my deposit, they bullied me throughout my tenancy and they tried to keep retain my deposit without justification. This estate agents is so poor, I took my complaint to the Deposit dispute scheme and won my deposit back, despite being told by Beals that I should not do that because they would win - I won my full deposit back.I also took my complaint to the Property Ombudsman and won a significant amount of compensation due to the treatment I received from their agents. Do not use these estate agents. Never have I been treated so poorly.
