Shocking attitude, I set 3 emails to this company, they NEVER responded, unprofessional people, i had to call them to get the answer, which was negative anyway.

Absolutely wouldn’t recommend at all moved into a property in September, reported my boiler not working correctly and it’s January and still not fixed after contacting them over and over again you feel your banging your head of a wall constant trying to get things done. They are everyone’s worst nightmare not what you want especially when you’re renting for the first time too. Absolute joke !

GoogleAvoid. From minute 1 of our tenancy to the very end, the service provided was less than poor. No one even cares either. I dealt with 3-4 members of staff who were all as bad as each other.

GoogleI have found selling with Martin & Co a good experience so far, all the staff have been so approachable and helpful. After the initial excitement of finding a buyer things usually go very quiet for a while, but with this estate agent I am getting regular updates on progress. Although I always appreciated they didn't stop working once a buyer is found it's very reassuring to be kept up to date with what's happening.

Disgusting company - had a booking today for a viewing, drove 40 minutes only to find out (from another couple who were there also for a viewing) that it has been cancelled as the owner doesn’t feel well. A very bad company. Avoid Avoid Avoid. They will try to take all of your deposit and claim crazy expenses when you end your tenancy with them. Cutting grass of a small front garden will cost you GBP160 .. can you believe it? they are very nice when you sign the contract and then when you go they show you the bad face. AVOID

GoogleVery good experience and they are real problem solvers for landlords. Gaynor in particular provided diligent service following and helping sort out an issue with an over zealous utilities company. All in all responsive and proactive.
Thank you Ian. I have seen gaynor on the phone to the utilities companies and she fights her corner and won't let go until the issue is dealt with. Thank you she will be very pleased with your comments.

They took over from our old agents, honestly They do naff all. Our wall is covered in damp and we've been trying to contact them to get someone to come sort it since june, it's now October and I've Got a baby due in 3weeks. Now the wall is completely covered, starting to get sick from it and still they say 'theyre sorting it' are they chuff. Absolutely ridiculous.

I called this agency in Liverpool to book a home viewing last week, the appointment was confirmed for the following week and today they called me an hour before the viewingthey told me( also without apology and hastily)"appointment canceled the landlord found the tenant"it's not an honest behavior on your part

Dreadful experience, was asked to act as a guarantor for a friends student and the process was ridiculous! It is as if you are buying the property not just guaranteeing the rent and we are severely liable for the whole house, an archaic position to be in nowadays. Plenty of other letting agencies now offering independent guarantees for the individual tenant only. Avoid this company!

wish it could be zero as many others have said.didnt bother checking when my tenant moved out, didnt bother for three weeks to check it despite me being an overseas landlord, didnt bother to reply to emails, no head office they say to complain to, havent bothered to refund money they took. DO NOT USE THESE , THERE ARE ALWAYS BETTER OPTIONS.sunderland branch who I was dealing with

Emailed and telephoned re flat to let in Scunthorpe, I was told would be in touch with me twice. No communication what so ever and when complained was told several people work in the office, need to send staff on a customer service review. Manager emailed me after reading my review and said don't bother using their company again. Response says it all !!!

The agency Martin & Co. Canterbury have been an absolute nightmare to deal with - avoid them at all costs if you want peace of mind and a pleasant stay.Their lack of responsiveness, lack of professionalism and lack of follow through is surprising to say the least, and disgraceful to both the landlord they represent and the tenant they should facilitate.
