Difficult change of tenant.

This transition of tenants has been rather tricky for one reason or another which wasn’t the fault of H&W.Tina and her team kept us informed and was pro active in finding a suitable tenant and ensuring a speedy, smooth transition with the inventory and remedial maintenance and repairs being conducted in a timely and cost effective manner.Where a problem came to light with the Utilities, we (the landlords) passed all relevant information over and it was dealt with in an expeditious way.I pay a monthly fee for a fully maintained package; I think I’m in very good hands.Thanks Hythe & Waterside. 😊

I'm extremely happy with the service …

I'm extremely happy with the service provided by H&W. Due to a sudden change in jobs, I had to move to Portsmouth as quickly and as seamlessly as possible, and the H&W team made this as hassle-free as possible considering the time of year (Christmas time) and very tight turnaround for viewing and moving into a property. I would especially like to thank Tina and Caroline for their friendliness and dedication to helping me through what could have been a very stressful 4-5 weeks, and for dealing with my many email and telephone queries with friendliness and patience. I am a first time renter, and I felt I was in safe hands from start to finish. Recommended!

The property we have purchased through Hythe and Waterside was recommended to us for a viewing by Richard before the property was even marketed. He had obviously listened to what we were looking for as we made an offer then and there.Richard and Wayne were fantastic throughout the process with no question too big or small. As first time buyers it was a foreign and nerve-racking experience for us but they always managed to reassure us with their friendly and knowledgeable advice, and helped make the process as smooth as possible.We would, without a doubt, recommend Richard, Wayne and the rest of the team to anyone looking to buy a property in their area.

Darren and Maddie have made dealing with Waterside a pleasure. Darren has been very helpful in the negotiation process and in arranging several viewings to the property. He and Maddie have been excellent in progressing the sale and keeping us well informed at every stage. Maddie particularly has kept right on top of the whole process regularly reporting to us and presumably the sellers. In summary, they take the whole sale process very seriously and are very customer focused.

We cannot fault the service that we have received from start to finish. Richard was fantastic and helped with all questions that we had - nothing was too much of an ask. He kept us regularly updated on the whole process of our first house purchase and even answered questions we had about the property when applying for our insurance. Use H&W, its a no-brainer!

A H-U-G-E thanks to  Wayne & Joe for their tireless work on out our recent despite some crazy challenges including a national conveyancer getting hacked and shutting down for 2 weeks!  "Just hang in there" they said, and boy were they right. They also did an amazing job weeding out the tyre kickers.  So glad we didn't opt for one of the lower-priced online options where you have to show people around yourselves.  Hythe & Waterside were extremely professional, extremely diligent, easily covered their fee and then some, a very wise investment on our part, we achieved far more than we expected.Let's hope we can find a Wayne and Joe in Devon where we are moving to should we even need to move again in the distant future.

We have recently let a house through Hythe and Waterside. We had changed Agents due to a bad experience with our former tenant and Agent. Darren was extremely careful to ensure that the new tenant was carefully matched to our property and was in place very quickly. An external agency is used to conduct the inventory which is extremely detailed and unbiased. Darren went above and beyond the level of service we would have expected which was so useful as we live quite a distance from the property. He even undertook a maintenance issue himself to help us out. Would really recommend using them.

Amazing Team

Joe and his team have been second to none. They are polite and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. Joe and the team were very helpful from start to finish. He did the negotiating on our behalf when it came to our sale and took the stress away. He was even able to advise what a sensible offer would be on our new property which was helpful. And when everything had gone to the solicitors, Joe was able to find out information for us that the solicitors hadn't yet told us and kept in regular contact throughout.
