Persistant phone calls

My complaint is directed at the Hastings branch after repeated requests to be taken off there phone list I still receive calls and after reading other reviews this is not an isolated case to this branch. Also I've had there number blocked for over a year. Rest assured if I ever put my property on the market I most definitely won't be using Fox and Sons.

Fox and Sons was recommended to us by some friends. We have to say, we are extremely grateful to them for such a great recommendation. When we first contacted them we weren’t sure but once we got in touch with Aaron Cassidy things couldn’t have been better. Aaron was extremely friendly, communicative and attentive since we first had a call with him. He walked us through all the details and application process, he answered to every question/doubt we had. During the application he was always updating us. This made us feel very confident about the mortgage application, which we think can be a very scary thing to do for the first time! We cannot stress more how much we would recommend Fox and Sons, and especially Aaron Cassidy, to anyone who ask us for a mortgage broker recommendation :)

We had the pleasure of meeting Harry Hodges at Fox & Sons, not only was he efficient with explaining the details of how their lettings process works, he made the time to view our flat on the same day, took some lovely photos, and to top it off, he found us tenants right the very next day which came as a very lovely suprise! Please avoid this unprofessional office in Hastings. Thought it was weird that my requests was not followed through. Been waiting to speak to a manager for a week. Nothing, called back. It was obvious the fella did not pass on my message. Not responded to emails. When challenged, he was happy to tell me he didnt like me. Think it was the colour of my skin.Update Foxs and sons are questioning my review. Trustpilot want evidence. My complaint was done over the phone. The company did not address my complaint in writing. As i advised trustpilot. Whoever is challenging this has not contacted the branch manager who i spoke to at length and arranged for someone to value my property last week. Perhaps they should do their own checks before they challenge my experience. After this insult. I wont be putting any business their way. Pure cowboys. Minus any stars

Very positive experience with Fox and Sons Crewkerne

We couldn't be happier with the service we have received from Leon Gullis of Fox and Sons Crewkerne over the past week. From the outset of our viewing he was friendly, professional and informative, highlighting features of the property and useful information about the locality and town. He gave us space and time to really look around and we never felt rushed. We made an offer that day and in the subsequent six days, whilst viewings were still ongoing, he kept us in touch with the progress of our offer. After our offer was accepted Leon was extremely helpful with all the initial processes including recommending conveyancing solicitors and offering to arrange a survey and searches. He has been delightful to deal with so far and we've no doubt he will do all he can to ensure our journey to completion goes smoothly. We would have no hesitation in giving Leon 10 out of 10! We would give 11 if we could!

I am very disappointed in the service that my husband and I received from Fox and Sons Southampton.Firstly we dealt with multiple people when it came to property offers and viewings when we expected to have 1 person handling our property.We were supposed to be dealing with Chloe but then ended up dealing with multiple people which was confusing.Secondly the unprofessionalism with the agents. Emma from the Southampton branch left a voicemail which was meant for a potential buyer to my husbands phone. It did not sound professional at all!There was lack of communication from fox and sons Southampton. We had to keep chasing them to ask them what was going on with the offer that we had received. Only to be told after a few days the person that put the offer in dropped out and chose another property.We took our property off the market and a few days later got a call to say someone has put an offer on our property. We asked if the potential buyer can go any higher and we still have not heard back. It has been 3 DAYS!!!! If someone is so keen (like you said over the phone) to purchase our home, why are we waiting 3 days with no response? You were supposed to make this process smooth and easy and yet this experience has been really horrible and had left us feeling drained, very disappointed and deceived. Fox and sons please remove our details from your system and don’t ever contact us again.

The worst Estate agent I have ever faced. After leaving the property they used to send threatening emails to pay the rent though we paid those in advance. We (tenants and landlord) had to call and email at least 20 days to refund our deposit amount. At last our landlord had to visit their office to tell them the same. They made unnecessary delay before move in the rented property and after leaving also significant delay in returning the deposit. Their office staffs mostly will not care to you and definitely will misguide you.
