Once I started looking a properties with Century21 I did not contact another letting agent as I knew they were the right fit for me. The house me and my friend want to move into is absolutely gorgeous and the process to do so was very easy. There were a few complications but the agent I was in contact with (Olivia) was hands down absolutely amazing through it all. She was very patient and informative throughout the entire process even-though it was very stressful. She was very helpful through the whole journey and very glad I was able to have such good communication throughout the process because of her. I've used Century 21 for tenant finding services and property valuations for a number of years now and the staff are super friendly have been brilliant throughout the process each time. Jay has always provided excellent customer service and always contacted me when he said he would. This isn't like the other estate agents down the road who are after your money, the staff listen to your needs and offer the most suitable service. Working with the team of Century 21 Southampton has been a great experience. They are equipped with extremely professional staff members who are also very easy to approach and quick to reply. They were always there to help us with every step of the way throughout our renting process (as it was our first time renting a flat) and everything was made all the more easier with the help provided by the team, from start to finish. We were always made aware of all the procedures and the paperwork without any loops and limbos. The staff members dealing with our tenancy procedures dealt with so much ease and nowhere did it seemed as if we were struggling with anything. They were extremely kind, patient and helpful. I really recommend using Century 21 if you're looking for somewhere to live. Many other estate agents that I looked into were quite lazy. Century 21 respected my time and managed to get me into my property quicker than expected. Whenever I went in they were clearly busy with work but managed to always be attentive to their clients. After signing my contract, Jay kindly helped me through the procedure of sorting out my council tax. A huge thank you to Olivia, she is a credit to the branch!

I have been renting for 14 years in the UK and century 21 Slough is perhaps the worst estate agent I have come across in my life. I was shown a new one bed flat and it was empty, When asked about furniture i was told that it’s a ‘luxury’ flat and furniture will be very good and similar to the picture they put on the website from the Showhome. But when I got the keys, the furniture was almost ‘cheapest possible’ one can buy and not only that it’s still missing few things. When I complained them about it they say you should speak to landlord. Which is completely unfair as first they told me to move in and furniture will soon be completed. Also, it’s not a maintenance matter but I was told a lie by the agent. I feel cheated. No ethics at all ! Unfair and Unjust !!

Great agency! Go there with your eyes closed. Before going to Century 21 in Southampton, we were desperate. Renting an apartment for a foreigner in this city, even while working, is very difficult and expensive. Without the efficiency of J'ai Guha and his team, my partner and I had no chance of renting an apartment without paying a minimum of 7 months' rent in advance. Jai helped us enormously, he was very attentive and guided us, which made our installation enormously easier. In 48 hours thanks to him, we moved into a furnished studio 15 minutes walk from the University of Southampton. Ideal for my partner who works there. Thanks again to J'ai and his team Sarah

We found a 7 bedroom Student house through Century 21 with the help of Jay. He was extremely professional and communicative. He was able to drive us between different houses during viewings, but never showed us a house beyond our price bracket. There was never any attempt to gloss over flaws with the properties, in fact Jay suggested improvements to the property as we were viewing it, which he was happy to contractually include in our tenancy agreement. He was happy to let us chat with existing tenants in the property and addressed the negatives they described about the property. Jay was happy to send us a draft tenancy agreement weeks before us having to sign so that we could scrutinise any points we wanted. He also promptly provided us details of the deposit protection scheme used. When we moved into the property (5 months after the viewing) it was horrific, hence the dropped stars. Lots of promises were made by Jay, but he hadn't had a look at the property or checked that the landlord had done these things. After complaining Jay implied I was being unreasonable and to give the landlord 2 weeks to sort this stuff out - THREE MONTHS LATER, after lots of correspondence, nagging, phone calls and hours and hours of cleaning it was habitable. We received no rent compensation. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because Jay still tried to help get the landlord to fix these issues, lots of letting agents would have left us to it, so I respect him for that.

Jay and his team sprang into action when I was left practically homeless due to a sudden change in personal circumstances. As time was rapidly running out for me, they somehow managed to find me a nice little studio at the very last minute as an emergency solution, so I had a few months to get back on my feet again. Throughout the entire process they remained sympathetic to the immense stress and anxiety caused by my personal situation, and went out of their way to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible. Anastasia was incredibly patient and very understanding. Century21 should definitely be on your list of local letting agents to try - I cannot recommend them and their services highly enough. And unlike some other agencies in the area (who shall remain nameless!), their office is very clean, bright, and welcoming, not to mention colourful with their seriously funky chairs! Many thanks once again to the Century21 Southampton staff for all their help.
