We’re only in the very early stages of buying a Jones Home, however, Sandra on the Van Dyks village has been very helpful and knowledgeable. Love our home on marbled white place…

Love our home on marbled white place but wondered if there was any junction road marking or slow 20 painted on the road or perhaps some sinage stating the 20 mph as speeds are dangerous now home are mainly fully occupied with families would hate for there to be a speed related incident , and also any update on the play area agacent the school thank you

New Home Experience

Staff at Jones Homes demonstrated excellent communication and patience during our buying process when it took longer than we planned due to issues within our chain. Prior to moving in, the handover meeting was clear and detailed and we were encouraged to ask questions if we had any. We received a very warm welcome on the day we moved in to our new home. Since moving in, any snagging issues so far have been either looked into and / or dealt with promptly. We have found all staff / builders we have come into contact with, extremely approachable and understanding, in particular Jas (in the Sales Office), Carl (Site Manager) and Brandon (Assistant Site Manager) have all been very helpful indeed and continue to be so. As for the site, we love the style of properties Jones Homes build especially as they put emphasis on the look of the houses and gardens, even planting shrubs in the front gardens to enhance the look of the estate.

Amazing

We are absolutely delighted with our new Jones Home that we moved into on the 15th September. We waited a long time for it after Beaumont Grange was first announced in 2020, but we wanted a woods facing Banbury on the second phase so it was a long wait but well worth it! We couldn't be happier with it, it's beautiful and just what we wanted. This is my second Jones Home as I moved from Arundel Park in the same village having lived there for nearly 10 years, and we've now upgraded to a bigger one together. The service again has been excellent and our sales adviser Philippa Ingram has just been absolutely amazing from start to finish. She is fantastic at her job and also the loveliest person, it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with her over the last couple of years and she made things really easy. The after care so far has been great, Alan the site manager and Dave the assistant manager are great to deal with. Everyone is really nice, friendly and on the ball. Our new house is everything we wanted and is just beautiful, I'm sure we will be very happy here for many years to come.

Our experience at Westlow Heath Congleton.

We moved into our new house in August 2022 in Congleton. The sales team were excellent, whilst other builders at that time put obstacles in our way in the search for a new house, Jones showed lateral thinking and were helpful. At all stages through to completion, they were efficient and thorough and cannot be praised enough. The house is excellent, but like all new builds there were snags. They were dealt with by the site team who again were excellent, then latterly by Jones Customer Services. None were major, and all have now been completed. For me though I'd like to see more of a prevention rather than cure policy, and a more rigorous inspection regime could save a lot of wasted time and money. That said, the overall build quality is excellent and better than other major house builders we have experience with. We would buy another Jones Homes house, I feel that they are a company that genuinely care and want to provide a good product. Highly rated.

I cannot speak highly enough about…

I cannot speak highly enough about Penny at The Grange at the Last Drop, in Bolton. She has been so helpful from my initial visit to pick up a brochure on the site to most recently picking my kitchen, tiles and extras. Nothing is too much trouble and she keeps me informed on a regular basis. I’ve been extremely impressed with the level of service I have received along with the friendliness of Penny and the team.

Very disappointed in the after service - lots of broken promises of work to be done - now 5 months into new house and still chasing for work to be completed. Feels like once you have completed then they aren’t concerned about the aftercare. All the issues have put a real downer on our dream house.

First of all no communication

First of all no communication. Today was what we were originally told would be closing date, but they usually get finished early. Not in our case.Their choices for materials was not good at all. Very disappointed. The building site stays filthy. We have complained about it. “Oh it’s a building site”. I call BS. All of the doors and windows are open so debris can blow in. There’s a crack running across our floor. Will it get worse as time goes on. Our site manager, Kyle, had 63 houses when he first started our house. It is IMPOSSIBLE to manage that many with one person. We live close by so we check often. Most times it is just sitting there with no one working. When we started there were at least seven lots empty. Now there are not any empty lots. Some people are living in their houses. Not us. There are twenty four houses, in various stages, being built. All are ahead of us. Ours is a shell. I regret building this house. I should say process of building. A real estate company was recommended to us. We bit. There’s not even a for sign in front of our present home. ???This is our third house we’ve built. We understand the process. We’ve been very patient. After all we are living in our present home. When you go to sales office, they give you a customer service number. You get a recording. What’s the solution? Give us our down payment back? (My choice) Finish the damn house? And when they do, how many things will be wrong? Will they ever get fixed?Regrets, regrets, regrets. Wish I had found all of these reviews before we started, because we would have never bought.

Excellent and Caring House Developers

After having given up on buying our first home we came across Jones Homes development in Hoo and from the very first time customer service has been excellent, Karen and Nicole have been absolutely amazing, helping speed things along for us and just going through the process together making us feel cared for.After moving in, the customer services continued to be excellent and the after care has also been exceptional. Our house is everything we wanted it to be and more! Gary has been looking after us and our property needs in such a great way that all in all I can honestly say that we are extremely happy with our purchase from Jones Homes and we definitely recommend them as premium house developers.

Three years in to my new home ownership

When I first bought my new home back in April 2019 Jones Homes couldn’t have been more helpful. It was my first ‘new build’ and I was looking forward to the experience where everything was new, guaranteed and I wouldn’t have to worry about finding extra cash for repairs/improvements. My shower leaked straight away the first time I used it. Water collected in the bulkhead over the stairs and had to be drained away. Then it leaked under the sink in the kitchen. Something had not been tightened properly and water basically drained out of the sink straight to the cupboard below. My boiler packed in after 3 years - seems it only had a 2 year guarantee - I had to buy a new one. Other people on the development have had similar faults with their heating and water boiler. My mum who lives on the same development has similar issues with her boiler. My kitchen units started bubbling up - Jones Homes not interested. I thought it would be covered by the kitchen guarantee. Symphony Kitchens advertise a 10 year guarantee on their website - but not Symphony Kitchens for Jones Homes apparently - that’s only 5 years. Whilst within the guarantee period - my issue is to do with water ingress apparently and not covered by the guarantee. I always wipe my units down and use the extractor - but apparently still my fault. To give them credit - Symphony agreed to cover the cost of replacement. Everything has been a battle with Jones Homes, their customer services in the first few years were unhelpful and dismissive. They blamed everything on Covid and have made no attempt since to redeem themselves. When I initially bought the house they made every effort to be helpful and initially I gave them a glowing review - but since then my experiences, and from what I hear other buyers on the same development similar, have had extremely poor service. In the first two years it was difficult to get any snagging done, and after two years you may as well not exist. I live in a beautiful area but wish I had bought a different home.

Jones homes are planning to build on…

Jones homes are planning to build on land off if Windyhill, bolton. They have been very selective as to who they inform of their plans with not one single resident of winterfield drive (which us planned to be the only access road into the site) having been informed. Verbal abuse and bulling tactics have been made to local residents damage to property to the extent of causing distress and mental anguish to several of the women who are on their own during the day. Despite planning not yet being approved work has commenced on the site, which begs the question of what are planning department doing. Easter period for local residents has been totally disrupted but this I feel us by design as Jones's know there will be no officials working during this time ...only Jones builders

Disregard for Community Concerns and Planning Process

We believe Jones Homes has shown a complete lack of respect and responsibility toward the local community affected by this development. Work appears to have begun on a site where full planning approval has not yet been secured, which raises serious concerns. Residents have repeatedly asked workers to pause activity until the proper planning process has been reviewed by the local committee, but these concerns have been ignored. Instead of engaging constructively, there has been a breakdown in communication. No meaningful effort has been made by Jones Homes to meet with or listen to the community, despite the significant impact this development is having on the area. Tensions have escalated to the point where access to the site has become contentious, with actions taken that only add to frustration rather than resolve it. This situation has left many residents feeling disregarded and pressured, rather than supported. Based on this experience, we would strongly urge others to think carefully before purchasing a home from Jones Homes.

Jones Home are bullies

Jones Home are bullies. They don't have a duty of care to the community of the area they are build in. They are coming a long and smashing up a community that they can't get entrance too a site. They started work on a site that they NOT got planning permission yet. The community have told the workers to go away until the local planning committee have reviewed the plans. The workers have told the community to go away. They have now parked a car to block the entrance to the site. The community have not had any meetings with Jones Homes so that they can listen to what the community are saying about the site. We would think twice about buying a home from Jones Homes.
