Unfortunately, i read these reviews quite late and I am in agreement with all the negative opinions about Bridgfords Withington. We tried to buy a flat, but when we told them that we have our own mortgage advisor, the communication stopped. When we tried to get updates, they would try to discourage us to continue. They went on making an offer for our maximum budget, despite only having 1 additional buyer who offered 25k less than us. Dishonesty/ lack of transparency and totally unprofessionalism, especially Richard/ Hammad. I am happy I did not use their services, and I now select properties which are not in their portfolio. Quite sure the seller has received a lower offer as well, which is a shame as the flat was superb. Avoid!

I can honestly say that I found the whole team in the office extremely helpful and always responded quickly, Lisa and Olivia did viewings on my behalf and showed the house off to its best advantage. Jane the office manager was amazing when some difficulties arose and just sorted it out. I cannot thank them all enough.

What a team bridgfords Bamber Bridge is, exceeded my expectations. From Daniel coming to do the valuation what a guy he makes you feel as if you want to buy the house you are selling. Rebecca is great helped me out massively looking into new mortgages. Allison and Lisa are awesome and all held together by Jane. I can highly recommend Bridgfrods Sales in Bamber Bridge. Jane the branch manager dealt with the sale of our home on Station Road in Bamber Bridge. We found her to be extremely knowledgeable on properties in the local area and helpful in advising us on the sale. The best thing was the level of tenacity on the commitment to selling our house - Bridgfords have a database of property buyers and contact them to market your home; they didn’t simply rely on ‘Rightmove traffic’. Our home was sold within 2 weeks, incidentally to a buyer Jane had contacted. Further to this Bridgfords were very efficient in communicating with our solicitor so as to get the sale completed as expeditiously as possible. I can honestly say they are worth every penny and we cannot recommend this branch & Jane inparticular enough.

Well where do I start ... Team Bridgfords (Bamber Bridge) Dan, Alison, Lisa & Jane what a fantastic team. Right from the very start up until the very end they all held our hand through the process of selling our home. This is the first time in 18 years that we have moved house and we felt quite nervous about it, but when Dan came round for the valuation he was smart, professional and put us at ease, so we acted straight away with them. You could call anytime and it didn’t really matter who you spoke to on the phone, they all knew what was going on. Always very helpful and professional. Luckily for us our house sold quite quickly the team did a great job and this enabled us to find our dream home, it would of been ideal to have found a home that Bridgfords had on the market but unfortunately we found one via another estate agents. We are so glad we chose not to go elsewhere Jane, and the rest of the team were worth every penny you certainly get the service you are paying for not just for getting viewers in or an offer through, but for actually getting us through to completion. The office environment is very happy and friendly and we felt welcome at any time. I actually felt like part of the team at times as the sale was going through. Our chain wasn’t very big at all but we still had a good few bumps along the way which at times was very frustrating but Jane was fantastic working with me. I felt comfortable knowing our buyer was still happy to proceed even though there was a slight delay, Jane went above and beyond to assist me in chasing the estate agents we were buying from in order to speed things up and get everything back on track, she made us feel valued and kept reassuring us all would work out fine in the end. I would certainly recommend this branch they deliver a fabulous service. We wish you all the very best for the future and once again Thank You to you all.

Branch staff good, conveyancing beyond horrendous

Started the journey of selling my flat with Bridgfords well, great listing, quickly found a buyer, then Bridgfords conveyancing service took over and was incompetent at every turn. 6 months on from accepting an offer I’ve had to end the sale as my mental health couldn’t handle anymore of the misleading, lies and gaslighting from their conveyancers. Was so bad even the branch staff said they were embarrassed at how bad it was.

If I could put 0 I would. My cousin gave notice that he was giving up the flat due to family and health issues. Before he was able to remove his things (within a week) they have taken his belonging and given only some clothing back. They have stolen a family air loom watch (Rolex) , cash that was for Christmas, not given back any expensive trainers .. they have drip fed some things back since like the tvs and yet to receive the Xbox, they have photos of his stuff on their report which they haven’t given back. They are not to be trusted . They are proceeding to trade non ethically and illegally. Reports to police have been made. They prey on vulnerable people

Fantastic team and an amazing service. From start to finish they all held our hand through the process. Regardless of who who spoke to on the phone, they all knew what was going on. All happy to help. At the start of 'looking for an estate agent' process, we debated long and hard over using an online 'fixed fee' agent. So glad we chose not to. Jane, Lisa and the rest of the team were worth every penny - not just for getting viewers and offers through, but for actually getting us through to completion. We were part of a small chain and we had a good few humps along the road which at times I felt was going to cause a collapse in the chain. Not with Jane it wouldn't. Honestly believe that without Bridgfords expertise and constant help our transaction would have fallen through. The team at Bamber Bridge were resolute in sorting out any issues. They even ended up sorting out problems that without doubt the vendors estate agent should have resolved. They did the job not only for us, but also for the vendors estate agents Fantastic service and done in super quick time. Thank you all. I may sound like a Bridgfords rep but I assure you I'm not. We are just happy new house owners and so glad to have employed the help of them. Fantastic.

If you're struggling to choose which estate agent to use, not sure who to trust to give you an amazing service, had a bad experience with estate agents in the past then please read this review. Jane, Simon and all the team at Bridgfords in Bamber Bridge go above and beyond the call of duty again and again. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They have recently sold a property for me in Lostock Hall. I live 200 miles away - not the easiest of circumstances but Jane and the team dealt with everything, viewings, letting in valuers and builders, reading meters - the list goes on. If it wasn't for their hard work and dedication the sale would never have gone through. Easily the best estate agents I have ever used. Honestly if you're selling a house in the area then Bridgfords Bamber Bridge are the people you need.

Bridgfords Gosforth

Bridgfords Gosforth - categorically the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with. They were very efficient at getting credit checks completed and the rent and deposit organised. After that though the service was appalllng. We picked up they keys a few days before we moved in and noticed a wash basin in the ensuite was smashed, and the premises was generally dirty (not mentioned on the inventory). Rang and advised - and said they could access the property to repair if necessary. It was not repaired when I moved in and I was advised this was because I needed to report through their portal. In the first week I had to report repairs - washing machine not plumbed in, broken toilet seats, kitchen cupboards so dilapidated the drawers fell out when opened, gas fire not working, thermostats missing/broken on radiators, ventilation fans not working plus the smashed basin. It took them 7 weeks to get some of the repairs done, the remainder were outstanding when I left 6 months later. I chased and chased but just got told they aren't priority repairs (repairs on white goods are supposed to be prioritised). Once I handed my notice in they were super efficient at arranging viewings to get some other poor fool to pay £850 to live in a cold badly maintained property.Although I have seen a copy of the check out report which mentioned lots of issues, all of which predated my tenancy, I have never had confirmation that the Land Lord is happy ( They brow beat me into taking a zero deposit arrangement which was very expensive so I don't have a deposit to come back) All in all swift to take your money slow to respond to issues and communications demonstrate how little they care about their tenants. I cannot recommend highly enough that you avoid this business like the plague.
