GoogleA very friendly but professional service given when I was looking to rent a property. I dealt with Colin Foster who was great. He did everything he could to help me and had me in my new property within a 2 weeks of viewing. I was very impressed.

GoogleWe have not used this agent to buy our seen a property, how've I deny this feedback was necessary after weeks of trying to use their website to search for properties. If someone from Tim Russ reads this, then please, please, please upgrade your website. Why must I search each individual office rather than a region I wish to live in? Why is there no filter to remove "sale agreed" properties from the map? Why is the photo interface so clunky and awkward to use? Noting that when viewing them on a mobile it zooms in to totally random areas of the photo, for example, I'm not interested in seeing pictures of a table leg, I'd much rather see the room the table is sitting in. It's 2022, websites need to be functional when viewing from mobile devices, and some serious consideration needs to be given to the user experience (ie search via the area the buyer is interested in, not via the office that a seller decided to use)

GoogleTim Russ & Company Estate Agents in Thame blow any negative stereotypes out of the water! We chose Tim Russ & Company Estate Agents because they were straightforward in their initial approach, gave no unreasonable expectations about the price we could achieve for our house and were very clear about what we could expect when we sold with them. And then, when through no fault of Tim Russ, it all went horribly wrong for an extended, and highly stressful, period of time their experienced negotiator Dominic kept us informed, (relatively) sane, and made extraordinary efforts to ensure that our sale completed, despite some very odd behaviours from ‘professionals’ further down the line. All with exemplary professionalism, manifesting itself in (very) good humour, excellent negotiation and mediation skills, and real patience. Importantly, we felt respected and valued, despite the problems with this sale. We are very happy to recommend this professional, efficient and trustworthy branch of Tim Russ & Company Estate Agents. We could not have handled this on our own. Thank you.

GoogleWe have had a very good experience selling our property through Tim Russ & Co. John Horton lead on our sale, he kept us informed with everything throughout the process and was easy to communicate with. When we lost our initial buyer he pulled out all the stops and had found us a great new buyer within two weeks whilst also reassuring us along the way! We would be more than happy to use Tim Russ & Co again.

Always returning our phone calls and providing updates. Colin in their rentals team even found our next rental in the perfect location for a great price. GoogleFi at Tim Russ was exceptional in both buying and selling properties in Haddenham. Fi has a skill for understanding people - and building trusting relationships which held our chain together and led us to successful completion. Everyone in the office was helpful and friendly throughout the process, communication efficient and quick and importantly, they provided a good experience for those wanting to view my property. I would definitely recommend.

GoogleWe've been very impressed with Dan and his team, having worked with them on both the purchase of a new flat and the sale of a family house. In both cases they have been highly professional, friendly, helpful and well-informed. Their proposed guide price for the house sale was realistically set and backed up with a sensible rationale based on good local market knowledge. As a result they were able to swiftly match our property with an ideal purchaser and got a firm offer in a matter of weeks, after a busy viewing schedule. The flat purchase has gone very well too and again they've been very helpful. There were some slightly tricky details which they helped us overcome and we progressed to a timely completion to the satisfaction of ourselves and the vendor. They are highly recommended.

GoogleMy dad had been renting his property via Tim Russ for a few years before he passed away, and I have continued this arrangement for a little over two years to date. Nigel, Joy and Colin have always been so kind and helpful with any enquiries and I have found them to be very responsive with any items flagged by the tenants, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble, especially with queries I had becoming a new landlord.

GoogleThank you Dan Crawley! Buying and selling is stressful and full of high and low emotions (ours certainly was). This is why it is important to ensure that you use an estate agent that understands this and also has the ability to communicate affectively to help settle the nerves. Our sale was originally on the market with YOPA (online estate agent), this started off well until we realised our local YOPA representative didn't know how to make or return a phone call. We had many viewings and had to nag and nag him for feedback. We eventually found a buyer and we found a house to purchase. We then lost our buyer, in turn losing our purchase. We now knew Dan's professional, honest approach through our purchase that fell through, he offered to get some fresh photos taken and to see if he could find us a buyer. By now we were fed up with YOPA, so we said yes. Christmas came and went, January hit with new viewings, one of which was our buyer. Dan gave us great feedback on the buyers current position and opinion on the property. They made an offer the next day, Dan set the sale price expectations with them at the viewing and stood by that throughout the negotiation. Throughout the process and because of our previous experience we were nervous our new buyer would pull out. Dan was always in communication with all parties in the chain, keeping the sale and our new purchase (with different estate agent) going through as fast and smoothly as possible. But most importantly for us, he was keeping us up to date and our nerves in check. I would very much recommend Dan and the team and Tim Russ. Thank you

GoogleI would highly recommend Dan Crawley and the team at Tim Russ. As a first time buyer the process was daunting, but Dan's professional and honest approach made it so much easier. We viewed a few properties before viewing our property, and it was a lovely surprise to have such a knowledgeable agent who could answer all of our questions about the property. Dan was also extremely helpful in answering our other questions about the process in general - no question was too stupid! Dan was extremely responsive and made regular contact with us and the vendors throughout, and put our minds at rest when we were having difficulties getting information from our solicitors. Our purchase went quickly and smoothly, and Dan was instrumental in keeping things moving along the way. Thank you Dan and team!

GoogleWe decided to instruct Tim Russ & Co for the sale of our property as the staff were approachable, professional and friendly with competitive fees. We definitely made the right decision as the service we received was excellent. From finding us a buyer fairly quickly in a challenging market to the problem solving and negotiation involved in enabling the chain to stay together when it fell apart after 2 months! The communication throughout was always open and response timely. Particular thanks to Dan, Ed and Dominic the branch manager who was incredible when he stepped up to manage the complexities towards the end of our sale and even assisted in managing the negotiations of the property we were purchasing through a different estate agent! We would therefore highly recommend the team at Tim Russ & Co and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

GoogleThis is by far the best Estate Agency in our opinion. Some of the reasons for saying that is because: 1. They were courteous 2. They kept their promises when it came to appointments, and following up on information etc. from the sellers 3. They ensured our first house purchase was done without any complications, by working with our solicitors, seamlessly This review would not be complete without mentioning our guardian angel Fiona. From the first day she showed us the property, till the last day when she handed us the keys, she been nothing short of being perfect. Our impression about Tim Russ as a business is purely based on how Fiona worked with us to achieve our dream of our first house. We are lucky to have been guided by her, and that she was involved in this process. To honour her commitment, when she asked us if we would like to take the keys from someone else, we insisted that we would like to receive the keys only from her. After all that she has done for us since day one, it is only fair that we showed how much we respect her, by asking her to be the person who gives us the keys to our first house. We wish Tim Russ & Company all the success it deserves and would like to wish their new Managing Director Vince Courtney all the best. We would also like to wish Tim Russ a very happy and well earned retirement, and we commend his efforts in creating such a great company, who have employees like Fiona.

GoogleFiona of Tim Russ and Co sold my bungalow within a couple of weeks. Her help and advice was invaluable and delivered with a good sense of humour. She also has an excellent knowledge of the area. The team at Tim Russ didn’t stop there and Fiona and Karen gave me good advice with my move which was very helpful as I had not moved for some 40 years. There are a number of things I hadn’t considered when choosing an estate agent, one of them being the quality of photography. This aspect and a number of others was top class with Tim Russ and I would recommend anyone to use them .
