Tim Russ & Co reviews

We listed our property through John Horton’s team at Tim Russ after a very positive first impression (declining two other estate agents in the process). The process to list was effortless, and took us only a couple of weeks to find a buyer! Even through the conveyancing process, John has been a reassuring and guiding hand, enabling us to exchange today, with a completion date in a few weeks time! Highly recommended for anyone looking for local expertise over the generic approach from large corporations.

Thanks to the team at Tim Russ & Company! Start to finish we were impressed by the team’s professional and personal manner, with everyone we dealt with friendly, thorough, helpful, quick to respond to any query, and patient as we tried to sort things over the complicated festive period. Particular thanks to Laura Mullen and Joy Braginton. Highly recommended.

Tim Russ has been absolutely brilliant in helping us to get our house sold. John Horton in particular was fantastic in finding us a buyer within a week and even when we lost this buyer, John got our house back on the market immediately and had new viewings organised within the same day and secured us a new buyer within 48 hours. It was an incredible turnaround and we are so very thankful to John (and Dominic!) for his expertise, cooperation and calm determination to help us at a time when we needed it the most. House moving is undoubtedly a stressful time especially moving with young children but John has been so kind, very understanding and helped to make this process go as smoothly as possible. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend John and the very capable team at Tim Russ and we would very happily turn to them again in the future. We couldn’t have wished for more from an estate agent. They will be with you every single step of the way! 100% confidence in Tim Russ, Thame, thank you!!!

I have been with Tim Russ for around 5 years, I can't express enough how much the company and especially Nigel Wallace have helped over the years, I have let two properties in this time with them, when my first property was being sold, Nigel Wallace went above and beyond to find me and my son (who was then 4 years old) another property, the way he helped me you can tell he values and respects the people he works with as he didn't have to go to such lengths to help. I'm very grateful for all Nigel Wallace and the company have done for me and my son and the efforts they go to for any problems to be solved in a quick manner. Thank you !

Tim Russ helped us find a great first let in Long Crendon. Nigel is efficient and helpful when it comes to emails, visiting the property and acting as a great bridge of communication between us and the landlord. I’ve been told he looks after multiple properties, but it never cuts into his attention to our needs when we ask for aid or clarification on anything! Our move in was speedy and efficient with Joy and Nigel helping get contracts signed, adjusted if required and all necessary paperwork over to us when needed. Thanks to the team :)!

Very happy with our recent sale through Tim Russ and Co. John Horton was our main contact and he was very good at keeping us informed of viewings and the feedback from them. After losing our original buyer new viewings were quickly organised and within 2 weeks we had re-sold which meant that our own purchase was able to continue. Right up to completion day the flow of updates continued and we would - should we ever be mad enough to move again!!! - use Tim Russ and Co once again.

Colin was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Transparent communication which helped to move the process forward with ease and expediency. Given the circumstances we needed to rent accommodation (own home flooded) this really helped to relieve some of the pressure. Would highly recommend.

A brilliant company to deal with. The staff were fast and courteous in dealing with my questions and in organising and vetting incoming tenants for my flat, and I have never had any reason to complain. In particular Colin Foster always went that bit extra to ensure my questions and demands were dealt with in a timely manner. A credit to the company.

A year ago I was desperate to find a rental property in Thame at short notice and over the festive season. Colin and his team at Tim Russ were absolute stars and sorted me out promptly when other agents ummed and ah-ed. Tim Russ is on the ball, responsive, caring and friendly and I'd recommend them any day! Thank you all :)

Sold our home through Tim Russ in Thame and it was a really easy process. John was always professional and even though we had to drop the price slightly from what was first arranged, we managed to sell within 2.5 weeks which was amazing!

Moving house is meant to be stressful (and it was at points) but John did a great job from start to finish. John was great with the children and that made all the difference to us. Also we found he was speedy at replying to our many emails. We would and will use John at Tim Russ again!

We have been clients of Tim Russ and Company for almost a year now and we are very happy. Our lettings manager, Colin Foster, has been efficient, friendly and highly communicative. We have also recommended Colin to our friends and family and he has supported a family member of ours in finding a new property.
