GooglePatterson Hawthorn were outstanding. Kevin was an excellent estate agent, and Simon did an excellent job as valuer. They priced our home at the right level, which resulted in the first person viewing putting in an offer and eventually buying the property. Throughout the process, Kevin was extremely helpful, supporting us throughout the whole thing. When you drive around South Ockendon or Rainham, you see many SOLD signs from Patterson Hawthorn. There's a reason why! Would highly recommend.

GoogleExcellent service from start to finish during what is a very stressful time. Simon was our first point of contact and did fantastic work on the photographs and valuation advice. We were then introduced to Kevin Terry, at the Ockendon office, who seemed to be available whenever you needed him or if he wasn’t, got back to you as soon as possible. All viewings were handled professionally with confirmed appointments.

Kevin showed us the property we bought and we simply loved it from the onset. Kevin kept consistent communication with us through out the process. One thing we learnt in this process of house purchase is clear communication. And they excel in this! GoogleAmazing company and very helpful staff. Natalie and Kevin were amazing from the time we viewed the house to the final completion. Then when we moved into our new home, the house was freezing cold, we couldn't figure out how to switch on the heating. We called Patterson estate agency South Ockendon branch and surprisingly Simon was very very helpful, he actually drove to our house to help us, and within minutes of his arrival the house was warm! Such an amazing gesture. Thank you once again.

GoogleWe are so delighted with Kevin’s professional service. Not only that, he is friendly, cheerful and helpful. Answered all the questions we have had with his best knowledge. Always had time to speak to us when we came to visit to get some small advice on our sell and new purchase. Never ignored the call and if was busy always called back. The whole process of selling your home and looking for another to live in is really stressful, Kevin was able to calm us down which made the process much easier. Thank you Kevin, now we can enjoy our new home :) I would also like to thank Simon who came to visit our property, on the day of pictures being taken I was rushing somewhere and he did his best to make sure he did his job quickly enough for me to be on time. Thank you 😊 Our house was sold within days! We were in a chain and it took just over 4 months to receive new keys 😍 which I think was quite good time Thanks guys !

GoogleWe initially went with another agent but after several months on not being able to sell we changed to Patterson Hawthorn with Kevin our assigned agent and Simon the valuer. They were very professional from the start with Simon very personable and telling us what they can do different but keeping us grounded in reality at the same time; and we got a high amount of viewings in the first couple of days with x3 offers from x4 viewings on the 1st day. It wasn’t all plain sailing though with months of slog through a long and troublesome chain. Throughout it all Kevin was always in constant touch. Chasing up on our behalf, responding to emails very quickly and always picking up the phone whenever we called with new worries or questions. He never got flustered or sounded anything other than interested in making sure we felt 100% comfortable and reassured. I can easily recommend PH. Firstly, I found them to be the most professional of all the agents I met with. They weren’t pushy and gave me a realistic valuation of what the property was worth. Secondly, their local knowledge was by far superior to that of their competitors. They achieved a number of viewings in a short time scales and the property sold relatively quickly. GoogleI purchased my first home through Patterson Hawthorne and I could not have asked for a better estate agent. Kevin was the lead for my purchase and honestly his professionalism, calmness and transparency was second to none. Kevin kept me informed at every stage and despite being a nervous first time buyer due to my past experience and calling frequently he never got frustrated and answered all my queries. We had a tight deadline to complete and Kevin made that happen gracefully and efficiently by chasing/following and communicating with all parties. The greeting card and new home gift box was also a nice touch! I cannot thank Kevin enough for making my first time purchase so pleasant.

GoogleIn 2020 I planned to sell my property and signed a contract with an estate agent who didn't have a track record of selling property and had extremely poor communication. I learnt from my mistake, two years later in 2022, Simon from Patterson Hawthorn South Ockendon visited the property and straight away we signed a contract. They already had a buyers list, so I received an offer within days, from viewing to selling the property it took around five months as it was a leasehold property but throughout the selling process Kevin Terry kept me in the loop and informed me about the progress. I'm happy with the service offered by Patterson Hawthorn and looking forward to working with them in the future.

GoogleWe was referred to Patterson Hawthorn by friends who had instructed them previously, raving about how good they were- they didn't disappoint. The valuation with quick and easy and on Right Move etc within days. I mainly dealt with Kevin who was professional, helpful, encouraging and honest but when Kevin was not around, the rest of the team were excellent. The sale of the house was going along smoothly until we hit a crater in the road, caused by the failings of a third party who maintained the block management of the communal green areas in my close. Any delay was a disaster if we were to make to deadline of the Stamp Duty Holiday; however and fortunately, I had Kevin advocating on my behalf with all parties. Kevin was tactful, experienced and persuasive and all in a professional and considerate manner. Without Kevin's input, I do not believe that I would have made the Stamp Duty Holiday deadline. You get what you pay for and Patterson Hawthorn saved me a considerable amount more that I paid in fees. From arranging first and second viewing, to the process of securing an accepted offer, he was very honest and genuine in getting responses from our seller. I also appreciated his help when we were going through the legal side of things, checking for various documents such as gas/electric certificates and planning permission certificates. GoogleWe stumbled across Patterson Hawthorn and are glad we did. Simon Burns who valued/photographed our home was very accommodating and pampered our every need. Any concerns or questions were quickly dealt with. All viewings were arranged with emailed confirmation making it easy to communicate with potential buyers. At all times, we were reminded of the current social distancing guidelines, as were all personnel viewing. We agreed a sale within 9 days of listing our property after having 16 viewings. We have since purchased our new property and to our delight, it was offered for sale with Patterson Hawthorn. This time, we made contact and dealt with David Howe. He truly is a credit to the company. Extremely professional and whilst he also was on hand to deal with all of our questions and queries, regardless how futile they were, he would always make sure he factually corrected us when required. Having someone at the end of the phone who you know will always talk honestly to you is very reassuring and comforting. We couldn't recommend highly enough using Patterson Hawthorn to sell your property. A credit to the local community. Thank you.
