We have been very pleased and satisfied with the service we had from Tom at George James. From start to finish ,Tom has been very committed to resolving any issues and committed to answering any queries we had.The process of attainmening the property took a lot longer than anticipated BUT that was not the fault of George James at all. The issues were further up the chain. Having said that we were always kept informed by Tom and colleagues to any progress. We can't fault them at all. We would definitely recommend George James. From two satisfied customers Pete and Sarah.

We used George James Properties previously to buy the property we’ve just sold and since used them again for both the sale of that property and the purchase of another in 2025/26. We couldn’t fault the team there at all, both previously and this time round. Spencer who delt with the majority of both properties this time round was brilliant and kept in contact at every stage of the process. We’d highly recommend George James Properties to everyone we know for their friendly & professional approach.

We've had a fantastic experience selling our home thanks to George James properties, and especially Tom who has been there at all times no matter what, keeping us very well informed every step of the way and making sure everything progressed as smoothly as possible, Selling a home is often a stressful time but thanks to the team at George James the whole process has been quite honestly a breeze

George James Properties are a 5-star estate agent for a reason! Our experience with them goes back to our original purchase through George James, and more recently our sale. Kudos to Nicki Turner and the wider team, their communication was fantastic throughout. Even when third parties in the chain made things difficult, Nicki and the team kept everything on track and handled the process with professionalism and care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend George James Properties to anyone buying or selling in the area, and I’d have complete confidence in Nicki to handle any future sale for us just as smoothly.

We recently moved locally from out of the area, and were really pleased with the service from all the staff at George James. Thanks to Nicki, Spencer, Tom and George who were all so professional, friendly and helpful and gave us plenty of tips about the local area too. We're very happy with our new home and hope never to move again, but if we do we would certainly contact George James! Many thanks, Cat and Neale

Selling my property via George James Properties has been an excellent experience - thank you especially to Nicki and George who have kept me fully updated along the process. We are delighted to have sold to a lovely lady who will hopefully enjoy the cottage as much as we did in our 25 years living there. To anyone considering a property change, I highly recommend George James Properties.

I contacted George James Properties in Somerton after many months of disappointment from two other agents that failed to sell my property. When I first met George Gray, I felt reassured that he could successfully sell my property and that he had a great support team in the Somerton office. Within a very short space of time, the property was listed and a sale was agreed. The communication between me and my Property Consultant, Spencer Mawbey, was first class and I was always reassured throughout the extremely complicated sale. I would highly recommend George James Properties for the quality service they have given me & for making the entire process less stressful. Thank you.

Bought from George James, after deciding to move to Somerset from London. Spencer was super personable, kept us regularly in the loop, was refreshingly candid and we built a great relationship with him through the process (we had some interaction with the rest of the team too, who all seemed lovely). Comms were fantastic and reassuring. If we were to list we wouldn’t hesitate to list with George James. Clearly care about their clients, both sellers and buyers, and made the entire process painless.

Outstanding agents that worked above and beyond to help us with our onward property. I would give more stars if I could. Extremely quick with updates and keeping in contact and on top of things. A huge thank you to Spencer Mawbey who worked all hours of the day even past his work hours to email me back and answer any questions. Considering our onward was their clients and not even us, it definitely seemed like they were working for us also. If it was not for Spencer and the other agents we may have lost the property we wanted. We Cannot recommend George James Properties enough, they really put the work in. Thank you

We engaged George James properties to sell my mother's bungalow after she passed away. The marketing went very well and the property sold within a couple of weeks. Probate then took the government 8 months to complete. After more than a year the sale finally completed. Throughout the entire time we received exceptional help and assistance from Spencer Mawby at the Somerton office. I cannot recommend George James enough. We were constantly kept up to date and they showed a remarkable knowledge of the local housing market. The marketing of the property was spot on and you can trust that they work very hard in your interests. They are not part of a huge chain of agents and so their tailored and independent approach has to be right for them and for you too. Housing is now sold mostly on the internet and so who sells your property and how they engage with prospective clients is important. I think if you are ready to sell in the near future you ought to contact them so can advise on their approach to selling your property. They did a good job for us.

Many thanks to George James Properties, Somerton, who were so helpful and professional throughout the sale of my property. I was living some distance from Somerton, and was refurbing the house before selling, and the whole process was made so much easier with the wonderful help of the team. I felt my needs were understood and it was not just another house to sell. The team, particularly Nicki were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and dealt with all queries promptly and in all aspects of the sale; nothing seemed too much trouble. I highly recommend George James Somerton, an estate agent who stands out from the crowd.

We are in the process of purchasing a property through George James in Somerton. We are veteran property buyers and cannot remember having dealt with a more, friendly, helpful and professional estate agent than this. All the contact we have had with the people at George James has been positive, especially with Spencer, and they have gone the extra mile in helping to facilitate our purchase. We complete in January and although we have no intention of moving any time soon, we would definitely recommend them.

Communication has been excellent throughout. Spencer has been especially helpful and encouraging, keeping us regularly updated on progress of the sale and always being happy to answer my many questions. From our first meeting with Tom, and then Spencer, we were very impressed with George James Properties. Spencer kept in touch with us the whole way through, keeping us informed at all stages. When we had concerns, he went above and beyond to find out what was happening. We would thoroughly recommend George James Properties, an independent estate agent who show they care. Many thanks to Spencer, Tom and the team!

We worked with George James Properties when buying our house whilst still living abroad. To say they could not have been more helpful and ensured a smooth process, (despite some challenges along the way), would be an understatement. They were responsive, efficient and friendly at every turn. Working with Russell was effortless, he made sure we felt reassured at every stage - from viewing the property remotely, to communicating swiftly ensuring any hurdles could be ironed out as quickly as possible. What could have been an arduous process was made easy by Russell and the George James team. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
