Excellent service from Scarlett and David at Fox and Sons, Eastbourne. Both very friendly and efficient on the telephone and in person for property viewings. No delays or need to chase up for anything as they were so efficient unlike the opposite experience recrived with a number of other estate agents in Eastbourne regarding lettings. Wishing them both much success in their careers.

Stupidly agreed to a free valuation with no pressure however after deciding we wouldn’t be selling for a while and telling them that, I’ve had call after call from both the Crawley office and another local office. I emailed them to ask that my details be removed from their systems which was acknowledged however the calls continued.

Arranged viewing, it was raining, we got early but that’s our problem. Then a minute before the arranged time a young guy got out of the car parked right in front of us. He’s from Fox & Sons. He’s been waiting in his car whole time knowing we were waiting outside the property in the rain. He could’ve said like, sorry we can’t show till the arranged time then we’d walk back to our car and wait.

Used Fox & Sons Crawley multiple times to rent one of our properties. They sent us a bill for lettings shortly after a new Tennent arrived which was incorrect and we naturally requested an accurate invoice. Silence for several weeks until we got a letter from a debt collector!! Wowser! We then spent time chasing unanswered calls and emails. The answer from the lettings team at Fox & Son Crawley was "it's nothing to do with us". Clearly it was everything to do with the Crawley branch as they can not do simple addition. No response from branch manager either - as expected. Would not recommend and will avoid in future!!

Due to various physical and mental health problems I trusted in the professional attitude of Calvin, manager of local office in Poole and Rachel who deals with auction sales elsewhere - both were absolutely awful, unprofessional and cost me quite a bit of money. Definitely world not recommend Poole branch F&S nor Rachel Barnes re auction input to property! Messed me about and caused much distress when they were aware of my physical and mental health! Definitely do not recommend.

4 months to move into an empty, chain-free property seems pretty fascicle but it wouldve been a hell of a lot longer had it not been for Curtis and his colleagues at Fox and Sons, Hastings. I had 6 months to port my mortgage or it wouldve doubled and my property wouldve been unaffordable. It was two certificates holding back the sell. My solicitors were hopeless, the sellers solicitors were just as bad but thankfully Curtis said if this isnt sorted within 24 hours Max is pulling out. 12 minutes later the certificates would be there in the morning and 12 hours later we were good to go. I get they want their cut, but I hear so many stories about estate agents taking their eye off the ball, and the buyer left chasing, thankfully that wasnt the case with Fox and Sons. I had to pay my solicitors £2,500, shouldve given it to these guys! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fox and Sons eastbourne have been fantastic with helping me find my first home, I told them roughly what i was looking for and within 2 days they had contacted me with my perfect home! The whole process was great and they really supported a nervous 1st time buyer. I will definitely be reccomending them to everyone! Thanks so much to Steve and his team! :)

Tried to underhandedly go behind my agents back to the client telling them we are bad buyers and he should sell through them even though our offer had been accepted and put a for sale board up over our sold sign .. really really bad business practice

I rented from fox and son for 5 years and Senior letting branch manager was quick to responses and supporting when needed. Even after tendency ended there was good communication throughout. Senior Letting branch manager would explain and go into detail if needed more understanding. Team was always polite and welcoming when contacted. Never had any issues (Eastbourne fox and sons)

Little to no communication, gave more than 3 months notice to be told they would be in touch and heard nothing more. My son vacated the property and a month later has not received my deposit or heard anything.

Was the best experience I’ve ever had with an estate agents, Chris there mortgage advisor was incredible he went above and beyond what we could have ever expected and even after we’d payed for his services he was still pulling late days just to help us get everything we needed ready wether it was mortgage related or not he even worked as hard as possible to get us out mortgage rate fixed before they sky rocketed we could not be more grateful even after we had closed and everything was sorted he still helped us with our life insurance as there was a mistake we made while filling it out, Joanne was also a massive help even though we didn’t buy our house through then in the end she would always get right in touch with us as soon as she found a house she thought we’d like and even pulled an extra day or 2 so we could view the houses due to our busy schedules when the time comes to sell we will definitely be going to her

My complaint is directed at the Hastings branch after repeated requests to be taken off there phone list I still receive calls and after reading other reviews this is not an isolated case to this branch. Also I've had there number blocked for over a year. Rest assured if I ever put my property on the market I most definitely won't be using Fox and Sons.

Are you sitting comfortably?… then I’ll begin…‘Twas twenty weeks before Christmas, plenty of time to move house, not a creature was stirring, especially not a Fox and sons Estate Agent !!!If you have been sitting down over the festive season with a glass of mulled wine, contemplating moving house, then take our advice…DO NOT USE FOX & SONS!!The whole branch lacked any form of professionalism, or competency. Lucas never returned our calls, only answering the phone if we dialled on a number he didn’t have registered to us. On one occasion, I stood outside the shop and although I could clearly see him, the girl that answered said he was out.For some reason the shop is always locked and the Keys were not always immediately to hand. We regularly had to visit the branch and insist they chase issues for us. Chasing only happens on a Wednesday apparently…really??? They are quite content to place all the blame on their equally incompetent’ in house’ solicitors DCLaw. After 19 weeks of abysmal service, we took matters into our own hands and dealt with the home owner himself to get the sale over the line. Due to several failures to exchange we had to exchange and complete on the same day. There was no one in the branch that day to deal with any issues and DClaw were uncontactable. Other estate agents from the rest of the chain got involved to try and save the day but in the end all 5 lorries were told to unpack. Yet still no communication from Fox & Sons… disgraceful!

Please avoid this unprofessional office in Hastings. Thought it was weird that my requests was not followed through. Been waiting to speak to a manager for a week. Nothing, called back. It was obvious the fella did not pass on my message. Not responded to emails. When challenged, he was happy to tell me he didnt like me. Think it was the colour of my skin.Update Foxs and sons are questioning my review. Trustpilot want evidence. My complaint was done over the phone. The company did not address my complaint in writing. As i advised trustpilot. Whoever is challenging this has not contacted the branch manager who i spoke to at length and arranged for someone to value my property last week. Perhaps they should do their own checks before they challenge my experience. After this insult. I wont be putting any business their way. Pure cowboys. Minus any stars

We couldn't be happier with the service we have received from Leon Gullis of Fox and Sons Crewkerne over the past week. From the outset of our viewing he was friendly, professional and informative, highlighting features of the property and useful information about the locality and town. He gave us space and time to really look around and we never felt rushed. We made an offer that day and in the subsequent six days, whilst viewings were still ongoing, he kept us in touch with the progress of our offer. After our offer was accepted Leon was extremely helpful with all the initial processes including recommending conveyancing solicitors and offering to arrange a survey and searches. He has been delightful to deal with so far and we've no doubt he will do all he can to ensure our journey to completion goes smoothly. We would have no hesitation in giving Leon 10 out of 10! We would give 11 if we could!

I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Fox and Sons Peacehaven branch and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would.This is the first time that I have had to sell and buy a home in 20 years. I'm a single mum to 3 children under 10 so time and working to my schedule was so important to me.At the start of the process I felt completely out of my depth and had no idea where to start but they made me feel at ease straight away.The whole team at the branch have just been incredible. The process has been fast, efficient, smooth and professional. I have been kept updated at all times and everyone has been so approachable and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble, even when I took my 3 children on a viewing.The service was so good that I even used their mortgage advisor, Jonathan, and the service provided has been incredible.I would particularly like to thank Tom and Alice for their patience and understanding especially with the amount of questions that I had. They always got back to me quickly with the answers and explained things in terms that I understood.Thank all for the work you have done for me. I would highly recommend the team and the services they provide.

I am very disappointed in the service that my husband and I received from Fox and Sons Southampton.Firstly we dealt with multiple people when it came to property offers and viewings when we expected to have 1 person handling our property.We were supposed to be dealing with Chloe but then ended up dealing with multiple people which was confusing.Secondly the unprofessionalism with the agents. Emma from the Southampton branch left a voicemail which was meant for a potential buyer to my husbands phone. It did not sound professional at all!There was lack of communication from fox and sons Southampton. We had to keep chasing them to ask them what was going on with the offer that we had received. Only to be told after a few days the person that put the offer in dropped out and chose another property.We took our property off the market and a few days later got a call to say someone has put an offer on our property. We asked if the potential buyer can go any higher and we still have not heard back. It has been 3 DAYS!!!! If someone is so keen (like you said over the phone) to purchase our home, why are we waiting 3 days with no response? You were supposed to make this process smooth and easy and yet this experience has been really horrible and had left us feeling drained, very disappointed and deceived. Fox and sons please remove our details from your system and don’t ever contact us again.
