This is the second time using Purplebricks and I have to say that Jenny Collings is still as outstanding as the last time. Jenny's commitment to the customer is second to none and her work ethic it outstanding. Jenny is so passionate about delivering the best customer service and for getting your home sold. The promptness at which she deals with everything is brilliant and is just what is needed when you are selling your home. I had an issue with the Purplebricks admin team as I waited over two days for them to return my call, so I contacted Jenny and she dealt with everything immediately. I'm very pleased so far with the new movehub as this is definitely a service which is needed to keep things moving along once its in the hand of the solicitors, so fingers crossed I receive the same exceptional customer service that I have from Jenny Collings. It always make me laugh when you watch an American property programme and the Realators talk about getting their 'Red Jacket' like its a degree or some kind of acolade, which it may be.
In the UK you can be one with ease but the lovely lady from Plymouth is so genuinely down to earth it is a pleasure to act forme and deserves every penny she earns.
The high street agent in my town that was going to take ten grand of my hard earned children's inheritance should wear stripey jumpers and a mask...in my opinion.

Found dealing with Purplebricks really easy and found the app very useful for dealing with viewings and messages. We handled the viewings ourselves and had no issues with this. We used the solicitors recommended by Purplebricks and this is the only thing I would do differently. Premier Property Lawyers was shocking, couldn't get hold of them on the phone and the lack of communication especially in the final stages of the completion was especially bad. What should have been a straightforward process was extended due to the lack of communication between solicitors. Some of this was down to the buyers solicitors but the Conveyancer we had seemed to have a fear of picking up a telephone and a lack of interest in completion.

From the initial phone call to the day I met the property agent for my first viewing, the staff have been friendly, polite, and honest throughout the process. They were happy to support with my queries, and when showing me around the property, they were knowledgeable about the surroundings. They made contact to be sure I do not miss a viewing appointment.
I had dealings with other agents before, but Claire was exceptional. She later introduced me to Amanda, who picked up from where Claire left off and continued to the day my offer was accepted.
I highly recommend PurpleBricks to anyone looking for property to buy or let around the Nottingham area. They listen, support, and deliver.

The seller is committed to the selling fee regardless of the outcome giving no incentive for Purple Bricks to complete with a potential off load to another party if not sold (agent did not know their fees). The valuation was driven by the seller after reviewing comparable properties sold or for sale in the area. There was no professional guidance from the agent apart from an online general valuation which was very broad (+/- tens of thousands) and provided no specifics of how it was arrived at. As such the pitch seems to have been driven by taking the property on board so the fees were paid and little support to the seller to market at an achievable price.

If I could give less I would. After parting with £1,299 for Purple bricks to sell my house the communication is zero. The photographer eventually came, after the first photographer was not coming then did but late then used his mobile throughout using bad language. Then didn’t do a floor plan or take an measurements. So a great first impression. the photos were uploaded and the house went live with no 360 video as promised in the brochure and no social media promo which was promised from day 1. After 2 weeks being live the 360 video was uploaded and as a gesture a week extra premium listing. The initial window was lost so this has made no impact. Not hear from the agent that came initially since and the office staff member has been on holiday so after 4 weeks we are in limbo. An offer of £75 compensation was agreed after contacting HO and after 3 weeks surprise nothing refunded up to now. The company don’t seems to care and I would NOT recommend. Selling a house is stressful but this is made worse by a company that don’t do the job they advertise.

Initially very happy with purple bricks! Very good in bringing our house on the market quickly. Communication in the first 2 months was great. However, since that, we barely received updates or support. Some information on their website about the house was incorrect and was only corrected after repeated asking. We never received calls again after our contact person was off sick, and always had to reach out ourselves. They did nothing to help the sale. When I called and suggested changes that they should have advised us to do, all I got was apologies that we should have done it sooner.

What has gone right? Just to illustrate the way my house purchase has been mishandled so far, I shall mention the AML check I;m supposed to have. I was sent an email announcing this and telling me that i needed to pay £80 for it. Later, I was contacted by someone purporting to be from Purple Bricks, but who offered no verification of identity. He took the £80 from me via my debit card and sent me a receipt which was not a Purple Bricks document. I then received an email from Purple Bricks asking me to "click on the link above" in order to complete the AML check. There was no such link in the email. I did send an email to the address given for support in that email, but no one has responded. Neither has the person who is supposed to be handling the sale of the property I'm trying to purchase bothered to respond, despite my email to her requesting help.
