I stayed in a flat for one year where Northwood were the managing agents and I must say that they made our stay as easy as possible. Whenever we had any trouble with anything, you report it on their fault reporting page and then they get in contact with the landlord to get the issue resolved ASAP. I want to thank the whole team in Northwood -Solihull and if we have properties in the area that we want managed, we would love to approach you for your services.

Recently Brian and the team handled the sale of my mother’s house and again the team were fantastic. Brian offered lots of support and guidance throughout the viewing and sale process right through to completion. We cannot thank Brian and the team enough for all the help and support they provided.

If I could give 0 stars I would. So many issues that should not happen. Nothing ever gets better. Nothing has got better. Northwood Solihull have totally failed to manage my property. Checks on the state of the property and checkouts when tenants leave have been full of expensive omissions. It’s like the Director walks around with his eyes closed. They have been dishonest to tenants and myself as landlord. They said that the house would be cleaned. It was not cleaned and yet funds will have been taken off tenants. They lost my door key and this presents a serious security issue for my house. My advice for landlords and tenants is go elsewhere. It cannot be worse than here.

I have used Northwoods several times over the last 15 years to rent my flat out. They are very efficient and helpful and no task too small. Marie, Geraldine and Brian have been so accommodating with instructing oven cleaners, plumbers and EPC's on my behalf. I would highly recommend Northwoods.

Upon collecting the keys, I was provided with a comprehensive inventory document that included valuable information such as the locations of electric, gas, and water meters, as well as operating instructions for all equipment. Northwood Solihull conducted regular property inspections at convenient times for us, ensuring minimal disruption. Any necessary repairs or improvements we requested were promptly addressed in a professional and timely manner. Before our departure, they provided us with all the information needed for a smooth check-out process. Their flexible check-out and key drop procedures accommodated our schedule, and we were pleased to receive our full deposit refund within a reasonable timeframe. We recently applied to rent a property with this company. We were informed we did not need to pay the holding fee (via phone and email) and completed the application. We had spoken to the company that weekend to discuss move in dates and had provisionally agreed to leave our property one month early to start renting at the end of the month. 2 days later when bringing passports to the office I am told someone else has applied as I am walking out the door. We then receive a phone call 2 hours later to they have accepted another applicant. The company completely mislead us by telling us we did not need to pay the holding fee and keeping the application open without telling us, meaning we ended our tenant early without a property to go to. Staff were very blunt on phone calls and not friendly. I would certainly not recommend renting with this company.

I was a potential tennant, applied for a viewing a day after the property was advertised, had no call back so rang the office To be greeted by a woman who asked questions in one word or simple phrase, 'name' 'job' 'partner' 'children' 'pets', she then asked me when I could view, because I had specific times because of my partners working hours she ended the phone call simply with 'I'll have to phone you tomorrow I'm busy this afternoon and can't do it now' and hung the phone up. After repeated phone calls, repeated requests to book a viewing I received a voicemail yesterday saying they had already had an application on the property. Service was disgusting, attitude with a potential client was also unacceptable, we all have busy jobs but don't speak to people in that manner and then to not follow it up was terrible. Very disappointed to say the least
