The first thing which stood out with…

The first thing which stood out with John shepherd was how quick they were finding a viewing of the apartment i was interested in and that it was the ONLY Estate agent i went through where the place looked exactly like the pictures listed on the website.The viewing was done by Megan who was lovely and very easy to talk to. I told her i was interested in the place and she explained the steps in order to take it very clear and was quick to start the process that evening.It was my first time moving out so i had a lot of questions however she was quick to answer each one and helped me out with any enquiries or confusions i had with the moving in process, such as explaining the contracts, how the bills are done etc. It was so smooth moving out thanks to her support and now I'm 2 weeks into my residency and she is still consistently and efficiently helping me out with any problems or questions i have thanks to how easy she is to talk to.

Have lived in a property with these guys for over a year, we had a FIRE and they did not respond nor send someone out till 4 hours later. The Fire brigade and National grid both confirmed the property is UNSAFE and the electric was faulty and never completed to the standard expected. THEY REFUSE TO GIVE LANDLORDS DETAILS AND WE ASKED MONTHS AGO THE WORST PEOPLE WE HAVE EVER RENTED WITH NOT ONLY DID THEY GIVE US AN UNSAGE PROPERTY THEY ALSO DIDNT CHECK THE SMOKE ALARMS AND THIS WAS COVERED WITH MASKING TAPE THE WHOLE PLACE IS DISGUSTING

Myles and Iain assisted me in my search for a new role. They listened to my requirements and came up with a couple of suitable options for me from their large pool of vacancies. They were both strong communicators and always took the time to do the little things such as a short call prior to the interviews and a follow up call afterwards for my feedback. They provided a good amount of feedback from their clients and were able to negotiate me the best package to meet my needs. Overall I would rate the service with 5 stars. Having both worked within the industry they knew the demands of the type of job I was looking for and were able to pair me up accordingly. Crux has given me more to be thankful for than words can say. Being an 18 year old, all be it a self employed - recent college graduate seeking a big city job was very hard. It took months and months of interviews at different roles and a lot of setbacks for me to almost reach breaking point with it all. John Shepherd acquired our previous letting agent last year. It has taken them some time to integrate the different operations. During this time we dealt with several people with various leves of frustration and difficulty. The higher management do a great job in insulating themselves from mere customers and despite suggestions on the website could not be contacted.
