Tina started our journey telling us we absolutely could be in a position to buy one of their homes after years of thinking we were not able to in a shared ownership situation. Can mis-sell and contract management companies who will bring in extra charges for residents

I am sad to say that I'm extremely disappointed with my living situation after moving into an apartment in a Crest Nicholson property.When purchasing my apartment in a new development with limited parking space, I was told by the salesperson that this would be rectified and there would be plenty of additional parking for visitors and locals to come. However, having moved in this has turned out not to be the case, and the management company that Crest has installed to look after the residential area are now charging residents with additional cars to park on the street! These changes were brought in with a matter of weeks for residents to adapt and without time for them to purchase the permits they need to comply with the new rules, leaving them liable to fines. It's caused us untold stress. On this basis I'd be very careful when looking at communal properties built by Crest as you're likely to face lots of extra charges and problems in future from the people they contract to manage the property and residential area.EDIT: Despite the response below, I am yet to be contacted by Crest to discuss the issues I have raised above.

Awful customer service

The house purchase process was fine, sales team helpful.However now 10 months since purchasing our home we still have simple outstanding snags from our 10 day visit, such as a cracked window, painting etcPainters have been booked in for 2 days on 3 separate occasions, they never show up, costing us money because we are taking time off work to supervise. Very frustrating to have patchy paintwork for such a long time, in a brand new house which should be perfect!Was previously dealing with the site manager, Lee who was great, now he is getting pulled from pilar to post and is no longer on-site. So we are having to go down the 'customer services' route.Initial email sent on 6th June, numerous follow up emails and no response and no closer to getting my snags fixed. Now raised a formal complaint.Such a shame as our experience had been so good to begin with. Lets hope they come back to me soon or I will be escalating to NHBC.

Terrible build quality matched with…

Terrible build quality matched with terrible customer service. 385 defects reported and still waiting for repairs over a year later. Customer service manager cannot communicate. Build manager has no comprehension of how to actually build a house either. If you try to raise your concerns with them they will simply call you out as being aggressive. One successful claim through the courts. Looks like I am going to have many more before this fiasco ends. STRONGLY advise against dealing with this company on any level. Recommend you find a reputable house builder than deal with these utter cowboys.

Totally Disasterous Crest Nicholson After Salesisaste with Crest after sales…

Total disaster with Crest after sales service at Longhurst Park, Cranleigh. Two years later, nothing done, grass waist high, play equipment never finished & now fenced off & disappearing beneath the neglected wasteland which was ‘public open space’ on the development plans. The water attenuation units were never planted so swing between stagnant pools & dry, caked wasteland. Grass verges were cut only once last summer & not at all so far this summer, hence they are thigh high weeds now throughout the entire Phase Two estate. I strongly suggest nobody even considers purchasing a Crest Nicholson home ever. We certainly won’t.

Do not buy!

Do not buy! Terrible paintwork quality throughout. Work finished to a poor standard. Snags ongoing for 8 months after moving in. Not received a reply from their customer service in over 2 months after chasing them regarding unfinished snag works. Our wood flooring has no mastic and looks awful., , , Received a call one day after I left this review above and promised someone would come and see us but no contact since (another 3 weeks added on to the 8 months of unnecessary stress)

Awful customer service …

I have been trying to get a response from the customer service team regarding the replacement of the kitchen tap under warranty as it has a hole in and fires water everywhere; I was able to speak to someone when I first reported this who passed me round the houses of a number of people who could have fitted it (they were unable to tell me exactly which company did the work at my property and I was told I would have to call round the different companies to see if it was them) as was told by the customer service team they couldn’t do anything about it. When I finally figured out who fitted the tap they said that it would be the builders (crest) who I would need to speak to as they would have the proof of purchase for the warranty. I have since emailed and called multiple times to be told that the person I need to speak to is on the other line so they will call me back which they never do which is extremely frustrating.
