Me and my friends had very bad experience with bridgfords letting agency at Halifax branch. I wouldnt give them even 1rating star if I could. The way they treat their customers is terrible. Not surprise about your ratings now. Never again. I will let all my friends know how we have been treated and to avoid it!!!

Booked an appointment to view a house for sale in Newcastle-under-Lyme, sat for 20 minutes waiting for the agent (the house was empty, we are looking to buy), no-one turned up... rang the office the next day, man I spoke to said he would find out what had happened and ring me back - still waiting 2 days later!

nathan is lovely! i was working today so i had to send my grandmohter on my behalf and she could only say nice things about him, same with me! credit to bridgfords! although i will not be applying for that certain property i would like to stick with nathan untill we do! very easy to talk to.

Turned up for a viewing which was triples booked, we had a viewing for 9:10 and they showed around another couple without checking who was supposed to be there at what time.Unprofessional attitude and we will be avoiding this agency from now on.

Patronising staff who are not helpful. They lie (e.g. we will clean house and remove old furniture before you move in - they did neither) and provide contradictory information. They also expect you to pay for repairs when it is the landlord's responsibility. The worst letting agency I have ever used. Avoid at all costs!

Do not use! Provided false information which was only discovered during surveys and left me unable to buy the property which has left me severely out of pocket. Awful service throughout and untrustworthy company.

"I can't send you a copy of your contract""We are not allowed to go round and knock on the tenants door"They don't do any work. I've not had any contact since I asked them what they've done to collect the rent (7months in arrears) and that was three months ago.They're horrible to the tennant too.

A real waste of time! I was after a property and repeatedly had to ask for a viewing. Requested that I was kept up to date with the property (there were issues regarding the seller) which they did not! What the vendor was paying them for I have no idea. Terrible (Wilmslow)

GoogleDreadful customer service. Once we paid their fees they all of a sudden they moved the goalposts. The guy who was dealing with us didn’t have a clue what he was doing and looked more like he was on work experience. Would advise anyone looking to let to stay away from these guys. Awful.

Absolutely shocking. Trying to buy a house and Bridgefords, Sale branch have a really poor attitude. Insist we show them our funds before even putting the offer to the vendors - not a chance! These people need a swift kick up the backside, they have a nerve demanding this information straight off.

Honestly, if I could give zero star I would. Booked an appoinment through richard wakefield office to view a house, went to see the house, agent never turned up, waited for an hour. Rang them many times no answer. Awful and unprofessional agent ever, never viewing house with these time wasters!!

The day before due to move at 4.30pm brudgfords Jesmond rang to say landlord pulled out! This after we had signed ast and paid 6 months rent up front. The negotiator had not done their job effectively which is why this happened. Left homeless and destitute with two young kids. Hopeless avoid

Very poor uncommunicative unprofessional services for landlords from their lettings department and their Countrywide department were exactly the same also ....unhelpful....no response time if any ....and have still not returned our unanswered questions with regards to our property ....totally uninterested
