After failing to sell the house for a year with another reputable agent, I was convinced to bring on Burchell Edwards as an additional agent. Within 6 months I received an acceptable offer and the post sales service was second to none. Reason I am giving Burchell Edwards 5 star is all down to finer detail. The quality of prospective buyers was high, you could tell they do their due dilligence and ensure no time wasters are booked to view. They also ensure they receive quality feedback. Ryan is an exceptional estate agent. After signing with the very helpful and courteous Daniel, we were handed over to Ryan who is brilliant with prospective buyers and really talks up the property and area. He also ensures you get the maximum offer and does not push youto accept the first offer that comes in. He is a great asset to Burchell Edwards and is someone you can trust. Finally Jayne who was our post sales case handler who was all over both parties' solicitors and ensured completion as soon as possible. I wish we brought on Burchell Edwards from the beginning! It would have saved me a lot of time and stress!

When we decided to explore putting our house on the market a few months back, we engaged several estate agents including Burchell Edwards to come and appraise our property. From the get go it was obvious that Burchell Edwards were far superior to the other agents in respect to professionalism, research and pricing. We decided to put our house on the market about 2 weeks ago and engaged Burchell Edwards as our agent. They continued to impress us with their knowledge and guidance and we had around 10 bookings in the first week and a half and I am pleased to say that we were offered the full asking price for our property from a cash buyer with now downward chain. Ryan at this branch was a fantastic support to us, kept us informed all through the process and organised the viewings for our house sale so we could be out, which suited us best. There does seem to be an issue with voicemail messages not always being picked up on the odd occasion when no-one was available to take our calls so I think this does need addressing, but otherwise we found them to be very helpful and professional and would recommend. They sold our house for us at a reasonable price which is what we wanted!

Our experience with Burchell Edwards during the sale of our home was extremely disappointing. I wish I could give zero stars but unfortunately there is no such option. Initially, they seemed promising, but it quickly became apparent that their service was lacking. They rarely answer phone calls, and when they do, the staff often admit they are new and unsure how to assist. Attempts to speak with senior team members were futile; they were never available and never returned calls, emails, or voicemails. Moreover, they are not cheap either; our seller paid much less to another agent who were just brilliant. When we tried to chase them for updates, we were told not to chase and that they would respond when they had time, which never happened. There was no follow-up on the sale, and we had to chase all parties involved ourselves. The only call we received from Burchell Edwards was on completion day, after everything was sorted by us. In summary, do not use Burchell Edwards if you are serious in selling your property and unless you want the additional stress of managing everything yourself. Their service was not worth the hassle and added unnecessary frustration to an already stressful process.

Honestly without Declan I would not have bought my house. Having spoken to him about the kinds of property I wanted and the original mortgage advice I had been given. He suggested I meet Aidan and everything just went up from there. Although I didn’t purchase my house through Burchell Edwards the mortgage advice I received from Aidan put me in the best position to buy my first home.
