We’ve had a really positive experience with Black and Golds Estate Agents throughout the whole renting process, from submitting the application to signing the tenancy agreement. Everything was well organised and communication was always clear and efficient. As Ukrainians, the rental process can sometimes be challenging. Even though we have a good record as responsible tenants, some agencies are hesitant to arrange viewings or simply don’t respond to enquiries. Having a dog can make things even more difficult. Because of this, we truly appreciated the understanding and openness we experienced here. A special thank you to James, who from our very first phone call was understanding and supportive when we explained our situation. He was incredibly helpful, professional and responsive throughout. He answered all our questions and made the whole process smooth and straightforward. Thanks a lot for all your help and support!!!

Kerry and the team were helpful throughout the home buying process and always provided updates and chased on my behalf. Although, buying the home did take an extended amount of time (all outside of B&G control), they were always helpful and polite whenever I did have queries. It was my first home purchase and first time dealing with everything. Highly recommended and I would definitely use them again.

Avoid this company. They were absolutely useless from start to finish!! If you could give 0 stars I would. Mike initially visits you to promise you a great service then as soon as he hasyour business the company do not want to know or even bother to reply to emails. The sales person Zoe actually caused us more stress and confusion by giving us incorrect information constantly. That was when she was actually working and not away in holiday or providing excuses about being off sick and passing her work On to other people again slowing the process down . Other staff having family issues. You name it every excuse in the book rather than just do any work to help you. Encouraging us to take a much lower offer with the promise our buyers could move quickly. Five months later we finally exchanged after constant chasing to get any information or move things forward. Our buyers were not even in the country but black and golds neglected to tell us this and we only found this out from our solicitor. The estate agents of the property we were buying also said they were shocked at how unprofessional Black snd Golds had been throughout the process. Our solicitors also told us they had never experienced such unprofessional estate agents. For example telling us our buyers were ready to exchange when it was months afterwards when we finally exchanged. It was constant lies and misinformation from black and golds all the way along this process. Mike will tell you he has investigated when you tell him how awful his staff had been been but will support his staff no matter how useless they are. If you want a good estate agent avoid Black and Golds. Worst company ever

We had an outstanding experience with Black & Golds Estate Agents. After months with our previous agent without a single viewing, Black & Golds stepped in and completely and utterly changed the trajectory. From the outset, the owner was outstanding: proactive, clear and highly professional. Everything he said he would do not only happened.......but was delivered beyond expectations. Within a short period we had strong interest and ultimately secured a buyer. What also really sets this team apart is the structure around each stage of the process. Different team members specialise in each phase, and the after-sale support was just as exemplary as the work done to secure the buyer. Communication was consistent, transparent and reassuring throughout. Having moved house multiple times over the past 25 years, I can honestly say this has been the best customer experience we’ve had with any estate agent. A fantastic, well-run, high energy, motivated, exceptionally well run team that delivers exactly what they promise, and more. Outstanding and highly, highly recommended. More than that, I will definitely use for our next move and I would recommend Black & Gold without a second’s hesitation, they set the benchmark for how estate agents should operate.

I have just completed the sale of my father's house which was started on his behalf. Unfortunately he died just before the transfer was complete and the wait for his probate has taken a long time. Black and Gold's were very understanding and communicative during the two years it has taken for the whole process. Given the length of the process I felt they e-mailed often enough to stay in contact without hassling for information I didn't have. Also, initial contact during the valuation seemed to be professional and fair. Overall I was happy with the experience.

I recently used black and golds to sell my house after having numerous of quotes from local estate agents, i picked them as previously looked at houses and found them good from the other side also. I cannot expess how fantasic i think they were espically kerry. kerry was the aftersales rep ( i forget her title!) dealng with all the nitty gritty of solicitors etc i have rated it 5 star because of her. I had a difficult long chain with many very difficult situations she went above and beyond always, nothing was too much and was first class thoughtout all of it. I cannot recommend her enough helping me through the stress and pain she chased everyone up constantly to get updates etc to make things happen with a sense of humour too to keep your spirits up. Thank you kerry so much for all the sweat and stress you went through in my sale and purchase. Due to kerry i will be strongly be recommending black and golds, a total asset to the company x

A mixture of feelings towards our dealings with Black & Gold estate agents. The house we purchased was sold via them. Initial interaction when booking the viewing on the house we ended up buying was positive, the lady who showed us round was friendly and on time. During the sale we did feel quite pressured for updates frequently. I understand our seller wished to proceed quickly but as the property we were selling was leasehold, this meant most delays were out of our control (and with the building management companies & solicitors). We did relay this info back but were still chased frequently. Our estate agent who sold our property were also providing chain updates to Black & Gold directly. When we finally collected the keys to our new house after our purchase completed, we were provided with one set of keys and informed that this was all that they had for our property. After emailing in afterwards, we were then told another set of keys were underneath the stairs in a random bag of tiles. We would never have know these keys were there if we didn’t query this. This whole section of our purchase felt a little cold & unwelcoming, considering this purchase was our first house together, we wanted it to feel special. Ive seen other estates agents leave little welcome notes for buyers etc, but there was no personal touch - just felt like a routine transaction. We would probably still use Black & Gold’s services in the future but these were our thoughts during our property purchase.

Where do I start........from Day 1 Mike and Jon were extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. Jon has a calming affect and made us feel at ease from the outset. He was great with prospective Buyers and certainly knows how to sell a property! Nothing was too much trouble and he actually sold our house whilst we were out of the country. Suzi then took over and guided us through the minefield of conveyancing. We had a tight deadline and with Suzi's calm but enquiring attitude we manage completion in 5 weeks! A record by all accounts. We've just completed the sale of my late father's house with Black and Golds. It was an excellent service, starting with Mike's valuation through to completion with Laura. I cannot praise Laura highly enough for her persistence and patience with the solicitors and the buyers to get the sale completed. Laura was in regular contact with us throughout the process, and was always happy to discuss things by phone if necessary. Everyone I spoke to at Black and Golds was friendly and helpful. I do not live locally so I was reliant upon doing everything by e-mail or phone but there were never any issues with this. I would definitely recommend them.
