First class service from all at Hawkesford James. What I found interesting is that we spoke to a LOT of estate agents during the selling and buying process and I was stunned at how few of them answered the phone or even returned our calls We sold through HJ and honestly it was such a refreshing experience. They did everything they said that would do and they did it efficiently and kept us up to date Jon, Leigh, Angela and Conner all deserve a raise whole lot praise. Connor’s photos showed the property in its best light and viewings were well communicated and accommodating resulting in a sale above asking within 2 weeks of being on the market. Angela was amazing start to finish, regular honest/understandable updates and always approachable and friendly. Her expertise and experience were clear. Having a dedicated agent throughout the process made things so simple and personable rather than being thrown between people/departments as with some companies. Have recently bought and sold via Hawkesford James. The whole process from beginning to end has been extremely seamless. John came round to value our house and take photos ready to be put on the market. The write up on our property and the photos taken were second to none. We had viewings booked in on the day our property went live and sold on the 1st day of viewings. Lee who done the viewings was fantastic when showing people around and had a genuine passion to want to sell your property. After accepting an offer, Connor, with the help of Angela in his absence, we're brilliant at chasing the chain and solicitors for updates for both our sale and purchase. I would 100% use Hawkesford James again. They were a pleasure to deal with.

I recently sold my house through Hawkesford James, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. In the past, I tended to use the bigger named agents because I incorrectly believed they would be more efficient and professional, but this is far from the case. Having used a number of agents in Sittingbourne, I have always been let down in some respect. Hawkesford James proved above and beyond that a smaller, independent agent delivers an exceptional, professional, and respectful service. After accepting an initial offer, the sale unfortunately fell through at the last moment. Despite this setback, the team remained consistently positive, encouraging me and assuring me that another buyer would be found. Their optimism and steadfast dedication truly helped me stay positive and made a stressful situation much more manageable. A special mention must go to Connor, Angela and Lee, with a particular thanks to Connor, who went out of his way to keep me updated and helped push things along as we approached exchange. His commitment and proactive support were truly outstanding and he, along with Angela and Lee, are an absolute credit to this company. I cannot recommend Hawkesford James enough for the phenomenal service we received throughout our home move. From the very beginning Jon set the tone for how supportive and genuine the whole team would be. When he came round to guide us through the process, he stood out from other estate agents straight away. He came across as a family man who truly cared about his clients, and this is a wonderful trait that the entire Hawkesford James team seems to share. He later returned to take incredibly professional photos of our home, and within a week we were on the market. We had plenty of viewings at first but no immediate offer, and that is where Angela made a huge difference. She was always at the end of the phone, offering reassurance and positivity when we needed it most. Her experience really showed through. Her advice kept us motivated and helped us understand the market better, and before long her guidance led to us receiving offers. I also cannot speak highly enough of Connor. Towards the end of the process he worked tirelessly to keep everything in the chain moving as smoothly as possible. I have never heard of an estate agent doing an hour round trip to pick up documents that a solicitor had failed to send, all to make sure the chain held together. That is only one example of the lengths Connor went to for us, and his customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Lastly, the real star for us was Lee. She was lovely, positive and endlessly supportive throughout. Like Angela, she kept us going at times when we wondered if the right buyers would ever come along. When they finally did and we accepted an offer, Lee went on to find our dream home. She made sure we got one of the first viewings and gave us great advice on what to look for, answering every query with confidence and care. She already knew she had found the perfect home for us, and it did not take long before we put forward an offer that was accepted. We do not plan on moving again, but if we ever did, Hawkesford James would be the only estate agent we would use. It is a brilliant local business that genuinely cares about its customers. Jon, Angela, Connor and Lee are all a credit to the company. If you are thinking about selling your home, Hawkesford James is the only team you need. Thank you again for everything.

Hawkesford James were actually the agents acting on behalf of my vendors, so I was technically not their client. However without their exceptional efforts to assist with the progression of my own property sale in what turned out to be a particularly complicated case, the chain would no doubt have fallen through. What can I say!, 6 months being messed around by solicitors to the point where we didn’t think it would ever happen. 1 day before our mortgage offer expired we finally completed and it was all down to the efforts from Angela and the team here! I engaged Hawksford James to sell my late Mother's house after walking in to their office to discuss the issue. I spoke to Angela and Lee, no waffle and jargon, just plain speaking and sound advice. The property was valued on a Monday and was on the market by the Friday.
