I honestly can’t thank Zoe and Lizzie enough for everything they did to help sell my house. From start to finish, they were absolutely brilliant, friendly, professional, and completely on the ball throughout the entire process. They made what could have been a really stressful experience feel so much more manageable. Their communication was always clear and timely, and I always felt in the loop and supported at every stage. No question was ever too much trouble, and they were both always so approachable, positive, and genuinely caring. What really stood out was how dedicated they were, not just to getting the sale through, but to making sure I felt comfortable and confident during the whole process. Their knowledge and experience were clear from the start, and I really trusted their advice every step of the way. I first thought of getting my property valued last November when, due to a change in my circumstances, I decided to move back to my home county of Suffolk. A friend recommended Will at Holters. After Will’s valuation, I carried out some improvements and the house was put on the market in April 2025. In the meantime, Will had prepared a market appraisal file showing similar nearby houses on the market, which was very useful. Many viewings followed, and Lizzie in the office was very efficient with reminders by phone and email. Unfortunately, my first buyer withdrew due to an unfavourable survey and the house was taken off the market for a month while further improvements were made. After re-advertising my house, another buyer was soon found and the sale is now going through, subject to survey and contract. Holters have given me my own PropertyFile account which I can log into to keep up to date with the progress of my sale. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Holters to anyone wishing to buy or sell a property.

I had been impressed by Holters’ comprehensive and modern marketing materials for some time, so when I decided to sell my property, they were the first estate agents I contacted. Both Zoe and Ele came out to conduct a market appraisal, and they were equally friendly and professional, putting me at ease and filling me with confidence. When I decided to market my property sooner than planned, Ele and her team delivered an incredibly quick turnaround. Viewings began just 30 minutes after the listing went live, and the property was sold within 48 hours! Ele was fantastic at negotiating the best sale price and went above and beyond to secure the offer promptly, enabling me to move forward with my new property purchase. Post-offer, Ele continued to be an enormous support, offering advice and guidance throughout the entire buying and selling process. Whenever things became stressful or I felt overwhelmed, Ele was always the calm and measured voice at the end of the phone. Selling my home was not an easy decision and I was nervous about what the process would hold for me as I have never sold property before. I have, so far, had the most positive experience. Zoe came out to me and gave me all the relevant information on costs and fees and what direction I needed. I was shown other properties in the area and houses that may be of interest for me. I was given a more than adequate valuation and was also told to keep an open mind about the time frame of selling. I was never promised anything and everything was completely transparent. The photos taken for the advertisement were amazing and certainly did the house justice. Within just ten days of being on the market I was under offer. The service from Tom Jones was excellent when my family sold property through him, so he was our first choice when we wanted to buy my first property. There were a few curve balls which the property threw up along the way, but Tom was very professional and found a way to solve these smoothly and find solutions really quickly. I must mention that he went above and beyond to ensure it all ran smoothly, he also worked out of hours for us to ensure the sale went though which we are so grateful for! Not only did he keep us updated at every point but was quick to answer any questions we had - which was many when buying our first house. A great service by Holters. I initially wondered if the valuation was a bit high, but I trusted Will's local knowledge and went with the price he recommended. Although it wasn't a typically easy time to sell houses (December) I had a first viewing within a few days and agreed a sale within a day of that. I particularly liked that Holters used a professional photographer who produced some fab photos which showed the house off to its best. Lizzie in the office was always up to date as the sale proceeded and was friendly to communicate with. The whole process was incredibly smooth and stress free - thank you Holters.

My experience with Holters is a thoroughly good one. First impressions count and Will is really easy to get on with and talk to and I enjoyed my meetings with him. I find that Estate Agents are optimists out of necessity so I have always been wary of being over being adventurous when it comes to a proposed sale price. I have to say that Will knows his market though, he took a balanced approach and I achieved more than I was expecting. I thought it might have been harder to sell than it was but he got a lot of viewings and ultimately a completion. Well connected with other local professionals which can come in handy when buying and selling houses. My partner has recently sold her property and had to use 3 Estate Agents in the end. The big difference we noted is that the feedback post viewing was much better and they follow up all loose ends. Marketing and photography is better than average as well. Unfortunately Holters didn’t operate in my partners area or we’d have used them. It’s a very professional service at a fair price.

Excellent from start to finish, we have used 4 other estate agents in Shrewsbury and would only ever use and recommend Holters again. We sold in under two weeks for over asking price. The chain with our sale was difficult and Adam really had to spend alot of time back and forth dealing with it and without us even asking him to. Using Holters renewed my faith in estate agents - previously had not had great experiences whether selling or buying. Dealt with Tom when we sold a property with Holters and can not praise him enough - always followed up any viewings and followed everything through and never once had to chase him up. I guess selling my late mother’s bungalow was always going to be a fairly protracted process as it did need a bit of refurbishment. However, Holter’s did their best to help, ensuring many viewings, and keeping us well-informed of feedback. It was also well-advertised through the various on-line and social media platforms, and the initial photos were good, although a bit slow to update when needed. A mutual learning point is perhaps that we should have smartened the place up rather sooner than we did, but we got there in the end, and Holters did finally manage to find a buyer for us. They are a friendly and enthusiastic team and we are grateful for all their efforts on our behalf.
